I just pre-listened to the new album. this will be the first ever a-ha album i dont buy, every song has the same 'oh so trendy' 80's synthpop sound. what a dissappointment.

I don't care if a-ha create synth-pop or not. I frankly felt like what they had been doing was still synth-pop to the extent the style was still relavent today. All I want from a-ha is good songs. Ive heard so much about this song, that its better than their opening single and title cut. I don't hear it. Its not bad and maybe the studio version will be better but I'm starting to get a bad feeling about the new record at large.

Interesting..I just got Analogue and was wondering what kind of music style they will have on the next one. Analogue was quite sixties influnced in places. This one has a 50s and synth pop blend. Morten seems to be waerting glasses later ( they suit him). I wonder if he has been waering contact lenses up til now?
