@budnotu : Hello! There are a few boatbuilders in Norway who build Colin Archer: Oslo trebåtbyggeri, Fredrikstad Maritime Senter, Hansen&Arntzen in Statelle, Risør Trebåtbyggeri, Hardanger Fartøyvernsenter, Djupvåg Båtbyggeri.
i think the hans christian borrowed many plans from C Archer design. Here in NZ we are sailing on the Vega , C Archer ketch . Sweet boat ex green peace boat.
Please, please, please post a version of the video with an English commentary, or with sub-titles. I guess that the video is about the origin of the design, and it's use as a lifeboat, but it would be nice to understand it all.
It was wonderful to watch, I love the lines of these boats.
Colin Archer designed and built some of the greatest seaworthy boat that were ever built. Is anyone building them in Norway?
