I've serviced several here in South Oklahoma. The radiator fan will suck-out anything unsecured, in a enclosed area, and send it to the shroud.

It has 8 turbo's, this is two-stage turbocharging formation, the top 4 turbo's feed through aftercoolers into the bottom 4 turbos, then through aftercoolers to the engine .

it's also used in hydraulic fracturing. We have one on the back of our pump trucks, 14 of them in a row running....it's a beautiful, ungodly sound.

@JCTech012 The low pressure turbo's (top 4) feed intercooler's and the high pressure turbo's (bottom 4) feed aftercooler's (LTA's) which are SCA (seperate circuit aftercooling) which utilise it's own LTA pump (water pump), thermostats and radiator.

@2008FORDF450V8 It would be underpowered for a SD40-2 because it has less than 3000 hp. The smaller QSK60 engines would be more likely to be found in Green Goat switchers.
