How can you say it's the best game conversion if you haven't played the arcade version? LOL anyway FYI, it is the best conversion, but you can't compare it to Turbo outrun, being the original was a testarossa and T,O. was an F40, and also the gameplay/graphics really were shite on the sequal! even more so on the Megadrive/Genesis, but otherwise good upload :)
I played this game on the Sega Genesis/Megadrive. I'm actually uploading some interactive videos of them now (choose left or right). Didn't know there was a Saturn version, looks really pretty.
It's basically a port of the arcade Outrun 2 SP (very similar to Outrun 2 on XBOX, but with new tracks and more forgiving collisions) with online racing. The main improvement being the HD visuals and silky smooth frame rate. If you're an Outrun fan with a PS3 or XBOX360, it's a must-have.
This Saturn version is very faithful to the arcade, any experts out there see any discrepancies?

The grafx is much better, but the framrate is the same as on C64 :P
If you want to see smooth and nice Outrun conversion, look out for a Dreamcast!
