sometimes a borderline just needs a hug. The worse thing emotionally is to walk away from a bpd when they are in that state.

Well, that's if you care for the person. if you don't then you can just walk away but you will probably be persued.

@punksush1 A lot of people with bpd form abusive relationships. A hug will only entice them to continue the abuse. Walking away is self-preservation.

Narcissism is what you described. I lived with someone like that. I like cats.
