I get that she wants to save animals and all but there is a limit and once you've reached that limit then it becomes an unhealthy enviorment for both the saver and the victim. I have a feeling her saving animals is a way to escape from some problems in her past

Look. When you have so many animals that you have to keep some in cages that you wouldn't normally, that's bad. Saving animals is great, but they all deserve a lot more attention than a person with this burden can give them.

This is nothing. At the animal clinic I used to work at, there was one client who had 70+ dogs. No joke. But he made sure they were all well taken care of. Vaccinations, food, neutered and spayed, you name it . He had a crap load of land, with sections fenced in so that the ones who didn't get along could be kept apart. They were all his babies. I have no idea how he did it. He was a postal worker.

i love animals too but there is such thing as going too far. she collects these animals and feeds and shelters them which is nice but those wild animals that her and people like her save go on to have more and more offspring, more than she could ever save, so her animals who she feeds and loves turn out littler after litter that die on the streets, starve, roadkill and that. shes not doing them any favors in the long run. shes part of the problem, just as much as the people who dont care are.

@dolly15rox that's way the government should help how much can it cost to get the dogs operated no more than they throw away for putting too sleep every dog that is not adapted this woman weed the help of the government just to operate would be okk as long as she has money for food and water to care for herself and the animals when if she comes to a point where se cant feed then the government intervenes the animals are better there than in a shelter in a cage

@animallover19921 ok but our government is way too messed up to be able to help all the animal hoarders. in a perfect world that would be possible but this is not a perfect world, and yes the animals that she cares for may be lucky but that was my point, the kittens are the ones that will suffer. and at least in a shelter they are kept clean and cared for. how much do you think she can take these animals to the vet if they need it? i know its harsh but she really making things worse not better.

@dolly15rox not all of course because many animal hoarders are not good in any way but if like you say the goverment is to messed up all animal stores where they sell puppys should close that way people only adopt i know is to much to ask and is just some dream but people are already fighting and in some states they have close some stores and in a part you are right she is not helping at all but the shelters dont hive nothing good eather unless someone adopt

@animallover19921 and if pet stores close where will all the animals that would have been in the pet stores be? i know it sucks that there are not enough people to care for all the animals in the world, i wish all of them had loving homes but the reality is that we need shelters and pet stores, because even if they are not ideal homes they help population control, unlike most animal hoarders which make only really it worse, which was my point. its a sad truth but it is true.

@dolly15rox without stores well they are so many owners that have puppys from the dogs and want to hive them away or people that dedicated to litters they are many ways with out stores all the dogs u see in the store the parents of those dogs are in a cage there hole life and when they dont work no more they throw them away like trash is to complicated this discussion and sad and be could go on forever we both have reason in our way of thinking

@animallover19921 what do you mean they dont work? they arnt kept to be just bred they mostly come from rescue shelters too. the puppies in pet stores i mean. yeah i dont know where you got that from... but your right. obviously we just think too different, which is fine. and yea it is sad. but honesty to me, stories like the one above are even sadder, because not only do all the animals suffer more but everyone of the people involved do too. its a sad situation

@dolly15rox what i meant is that the people that have many litters use the dogs until the dog cant bread no more and then they let the dog die and the puppies from the stores come from those dogs that die in a cage...i saw it in the news thats way in some states they are trying to close pet stores i dont know in what states dont remember...yea the story above is really sad but this happens thanks to people that does not hive shit about there pets that's the worst part

@animallover19921 even if pet stores were closed, people would still overbreed their pets, but instead of selling them to pet stores they will sell them to anyone who will take them, including dog fighters and such. they just want money and theyll get it wherever they can. i know this because i actually saved the pit bull/lab mix i have now from a life that would have been like that, except that her mother was crazy and bit her and she was nearly put down. its sad that some people care so little

I give her credit, she has an incredible heart but you have to be able to take care of them. I have 1 mama cat and 5 kittens but NO MORE!!!! That's all I can take care of and I realize that. Plus the vet bills and everything they are very happy and know they are taken care of..............but this taking your whole paycheck? That's out of control.

These animals live on a huge property, don't look sick or crowded and were originally saved from death if not for this lady. While I believe she should consider getting rid of some of the animals if she thinks the cost is too high (and she can't give each animal enough attention,) I also believe that there are MUCH worse hoarding cases.

All the animals look in good health and looked after not like the hoarders I have seen with starving , flea ridden , sick animals who in their mind they LOVE. I have taken in dogs, cats , horses who needed homes but by law I'm only allowed 2 dogs and 2 cats here. I am always getting people wanting to give me horses but I have learnt to say NO..

she hasn't actually got that many animals. My family runs a Lurcher rescue and we'll normally have about 25-30 dogs in our care, until we find them homes. We also have 6 ferrets, 6 chickens, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and I personally have my 2 hedgehogs and 3 rats.

I think as long as you can keep up with your pets and give them all the love and care they need to keep them happy and healthy, then you're not a hoarder :)

I think she is a great person, she saves all those precious creatures. But I have to say that she has gone alittle far, I mean never stop saving animals they need us. But when they start building up it can cause problems. I suggests she finds new homes for any more animals she finds. Keep a few and adopt out others to good homes. Honestly, the conditions weren't as bad as the others on this show; like that lady that let a dog give birth on a couch and had a stillborn. That dog was underweight for a pregnant dog. However, it's not fair that the partner has to live like that and doesn't want to. She's paying for animals she didn't have any part in bringing home in the first place.
