@kanzaki88 Not every actor is that into being in mainstream hollywood. In fact, many actor simply just want to act, they don't look for the whole hollywood fame. Richard is happy where he is, he enjoys his work, and if luck does come along and he finds a good script that can make him a hollywood star, then that's good for him. He was just announced to be casted in one of the lead role for The Hobbit movie, so who knows, maybe he will break into Hollywood.

Can I ask a silly question? How did Richard have time to grew all that long hair for the Gisborne part in RH 3? Didn't he do Spooks right before RH 3? And in Spooks he's got a really nice and short haircut - like the one he has in this clip. Is Gisbornes sexy, long and dark mane actually a wig?! Doesn't look like it though.

Here in Toronto, too. BBC Canada and BBC Kids shows Robin Hood and Spooks a few times a day, most days of the week. I don't know if basic cable includes them. We don't get any of the real good channels like HBO or Movie Network with our package. Anyway, Canada still hasn't gotten the third season of Robin Hood yet. It's still on reruns.
At this point, I've only heard rumours which are probably not reliable. There's a lot of online talk of Richard Armitage being considered for the role of Sandor Cleagan in an upcoming HBO show called Game of Thrones. I don't know if this is really true or if this was first generated by fans saying they WISHED he was being cast, and taking off from there. Another (probably fan-generated) rumour is that RA is being considered for the character of the Bard in the upcoming film The Hobbit.
He will be on a one hour drama on BBC 1 on Weds May 20th at 2pm. He is currently filming Spooks and Series 3 of RH is still to finish running. There are going to be three new audio books this year. I agree, I would love to see him in a movie!

Credo che ci capita a tutti noi che la nostra lingua materna non é l'inglese. Io sono peruviana e a volte anche ho problemi per capire tutto quello che dicono, sopratutto gli inglesi... sembra che si mangiassero alcune sillabe nelle parole o pronunciassero completamente diverso una parola da come si scrive e si fa piu difficile identificarla....

Can I ask a silly question? How did Richard have time to grew all that long hair for the Gisborne part in RH 3? Didn't he do Spooks right before RH 3? And in Spooks he's got a really nice and short haircut - like the one he has in this clip. Is Gisbornes sexy, long and dark mane actually a wig?! Doesn't look like it though.

Well, come to think of it he says that the long, hot and anoying "Gisborne hair" had to stay for 6 months so it can't have been a wig (stupid me). But I still don't get how he got the time to grow it.

It was hair extensions, but they probably used real human hair to make them look more convincing. They look a lot more real than the ones in S1 :)

Ah... that explains a lot. So he had hair extensions even in S1 and S2. Well come to think of it - the hair isn't really looking all natural i S1 and S2 but in S3 it looks so much more "all Richard". Anyway I really like the long and curly hair but I've always been week for the short and kind of boyish haircut he has in this interview...YUM! He is soo cute as Lucas. It looks as if he's already in costyme for playing Lucas and on his way to the shooting of the day.

Here in Toronto, too. BBC Canada and BBC Kids shows Robin Hood and Spooks a few times a day, most days of the week. I don't know if basic cable includes them. We don't get any of the real good channels like HBO or Movie Network with our package. Anyway, Canada still hasn't gotten the third season of Robin Hood yet. It's still on reruns.

At this point, I've only heard rumours which are probably not reliable. There's a lot of online talk of Richard Armitage being considered for the role of Sandor Cleagan in an upcoming HBO show called Game of Thrones. I don't know if this is really true or if this was first generated by fans saying they WISHED he was being cast, and taking off from there. Another (probably fan-generated) rumour is that RA is being considered for the character of the Bard in the upcoming film The Hobbit.

He will be on a one hour drama on BBC 1 on Weds May 20th at 2pm. He is currently filming Spooks and Series 3 of RH is still to finish running. There are going to be three new audio books this year. I agree, I would love to see him in a movie!

Richard looks pretty much like Gerard Butler, doesn't he? I didn't notice it in Robin Hood, because of the hair, etc. But here the idea just struck me from the beginning of the interview:)))

How can you say that Richard looks plain, he is gorgeous, sex on legs. I think you need to go and have your eyes tested. He looks younger than in the roles he plays, fit and healthy, what more could you ask for.

I think RA would make a brilliant James Bond. Looks more than good in action shots, has a ruthless northern edge, wonderful expressions and voice. He certainly has hidden depths (Spooks and North South) and Britain could do with a boost in these difficult times!

Ummm.... ooooook.... Richard has said in interviews that he takes about 20 minutes to get ready in the morning. I don't think metrosexual men take that short of a time to get ready. He doesn't come across as metrosexual to me, BUT even if he was WHO CARES? It's not like you are the one sharing a bathroom with him so you don't have to worry about it.

So basically, my question is, at which point in time did it become taboo for a man to actually care about and take pride in himself and his appearance? I'm sure Mr. Darcy took longer than 20 mins and no one cracked on him about it. I know it was there all into the 50's but some time after that it sort of got lost. I don't care if he takes 20 mins or 40 mins, as long as that man looks good. GO RICHARD!!!!!!

My brother and a friend of mine need 30 minutes to get ready! Five to decide to get up, 10 in the toilet, 10 to sip their first coffee with eyes still half closed and 5 to get dressed!! LOL!! And if they take a shower, add another 10 in the mix! :D
