Don't mean this as negative. It sounds good, but you're missing some of the slides that make the riff flow a little better. It all should be played above the 12th fret on the first 4 strings rather than moving along the E and B strings only. Cheers!

I can't actually reach these notes on my acoustic, =[. I got the Viva la vida sheet music and tab book, and after seeing it being that high, I sorta gave up. I just can't get my fingers up there. I hate it when there's a song which I physically CAN'T do. It's like when I found out I needed more than 66 notes to play postcards from far away.

There's a Viva La Vida book, it has tab and sheet music for all the songs. I bought it at "Music Room", but I imagine you can find it at any good music shop, if not, there's always the internet =D

in this song...jonny uses reverb basically its like a cannon the note is repeated a couple of milliseconds after it is played. And also alot of delay. You can find these common features on most effects pedals.

im pretty sure he uses a delay pedal with a reverse setting, which is what makes it sound unique :)

the guitarist is my band uses one in quite a few songs, -makes a really great sound!

Ok ok. now it's clear. in the original song you can record it with as many guitars as you want. he might've used more guitars while recording the song cuz its much easier, but when it is live, a delay pedal is enough

Well you can have more guitars live pre-recorded with loop pedals etc. ;D But you know this may seem too much but I like a lot of guitars at the same time. :D

Maybe live is good to be simple and clean with 1 guitar and 1 effect.
