One of the most primitive and cheap propaganda channels available. Even worse than poor liars from "Russia today". Made by pigs who don't even bother to wear ties to respect the western tradition while making propaganda to the western viewers. Watch it for 5 minutes and you would never like to see or hear it again.

I read news at presstv . ir and russiatoday . com regurarly. They are good news channels. Look at a lot of their reports on youtube as well. Only believing in the news from the west is the same at only liking the "cool kid" at school because everybody else does too.

You may believe or not believe the news you receive from the western outlets. What is clear is that CNN, Sky, BBC, DW or even Al Jazeera and Al Arabia always check the facts before publishing them, give tribune to wide range of opinions and never deal with promoting the interests of their funders (except Al Jazeera who're complimenting Qatar). Could the same be said about primitive propaganda tools like "Press(lies) TV" and RT?

When PressTV during the latest conflict where giving tribune EXCLUSIVELY to one-sided position, were reporting false facts on purpose etc. And RT - was there ever a criticism of Kremlin's policies? Yeah, global conspiracy is a theory we know well, even before the Goebbels era. Of course, a pity for him, he didn't have Press(lies)TV and RT back in those days. And here you've reached the good point. All the propaganda channels despite massive presence on every possible satellite and been clearly FTA share a minimal rating. It is baseless to say they're "popular" or getting "more popular". Their rating is and will remain stably low since most of the public, Thank God, can distinguish between information and cheap state-sponsored propaganda from authoritarian regimes of the 3-rd world countries.

I disagree; if it was baseless the channel would not have been mentioned anywhere. Let us hope that everybody is as "intelligent" as you say, after all they are not stupid, blind and terrorists like the third world. Evil third world only want to take over the world, specially Iran. I think you should not try to mix your own political views with the topic discussed - impartiality and trustfulness of information provided. None of the propaganda channels that you adore so much fit this criteria. In fact it's not that they're bringing any new, unknown topics. They're bringing the same stories while mixing the item with the political stance of their state-sponsors, marginal puppet "experts", false facts and figures and strong manipulation. And that's a big difference.

It is clear how modern they are, and how primitive presstv and RT is. Everything that is not popular in certain peoples eyes is not modern or is "terrorist" these days. press tv is allowed much more freedom than iran's other news networks. although i doubt that there hasn't been even one incident of censorship, it isn't as restricted as this video is implying. press tv invites guests from all backgrounds on its talk shows (including a lot of neo cons), and even sometimes, unlike iran's other channels, criticizes the current iranian administration
