Does anyone have audio of Jeanneret calling the Stars winning the cup in overtime over the Stars? I'm just curious to see how he called it. By the looks of the Sabres now, that might be the closest he ever gets to calling the Sabres winning it.

@jtthegreek Well, that is one reason why I want to hear it. We all know how legendary he is when calling the Sabres winning in OT, but what about when the opposing team just won the cup in OT? I don't think most people knew the goal was controversial when it happened, including Jeanneret, so that might have elicited a "purer" reaction from him.

I'm a Pens fan, and I go to school in an area where they cover both the Penguins and the Sabres. Any time the two teams meet, and that's 4 times per year being in the same conference, I turn off "SteigerBALD" and tune into the Buffalo station because I like Jenneret better.

Don't get me wrong but the games wouldn't lose any hype. Kevin Sylvester is great when he does the games. Anyways would winning the Stanley Cup be any different without him? I hope he's there for it but its not really a game changer if he isn't. Ask yourself this: would you still watch games without RJ?

If RJ retires, The sabres games will lose that Hype at the end of a huge win, Having a Annoucer just say "Scores in overtime and the sabres win the cup" will not be as enjoyable as "The shot Gerbe SCCCOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRREEEESSSSS­S!!!
