  • lol its just another chevy owner that uses ford blocks as a boat anchor

  • Thats definately a 170 Slant 6 motor from an early 60's dodge or plymouth. Most likely a Dodge Dart or something like that

  • @Kimvention: I am a MoPar and Valiant fan, but I have to say that I'm impressed by your observations. You should apply for the position of Chief Archaeologist-Mechanic!

  • There must have been salt or something else corrosive in the water.

  • @TheSpazModic it's freshwater, so the salinity would be very little, i'm thinking since it's only in a couple feet of water being exposed to both water then air during summer just speeds up the corrosion process.

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 That makes sense.

  • Thats the first thing I saw the old slant 6 mopar

  • Valient fo sho

  • what lake is it?

  • @2turtlesdo hoover reservior columbus ohio

  • more like an old engine..

  • Hi. My name is Dave, and I can definitely identify that car for you. I know because I owned one back in the late sixties, and I was always puttering around with stuff on it, or fixing something. What you have there is definitely a 1960 Plymouth Valiant. I identified the taillight bezel immediately, and that large chrome ring that goes around the false continental kit spare tire lump on the rear deck lid. That, and a few other parts. The engine is definitely a 170 c. i. slant 6 by Chrysler. NEAT!

  • Dip the lights. not literally!!

  • guess the water quality must have been good, alittle 10W30 along with some rust.....anyone care for a glass or water

  • run the vin! haha

  • its a skoda

  • what is that at 1:12

  • that engine will fire straight up with a bit of easy start

  • It most likely a Plymouth from the 60s don't think you can restore it lol.

  • Thats funny, while whatching this one of those stupid Popups came up and said "thinking of buying a used Car?" lol

  • old bmw

  • Your kidding, Your kidding right? I don't think you can identify a car just by some bits of scrap metal and a few engine parts.

  • @KOSMOS1701A Actually it's quite easy if you know your cars well enough.

  • To me, Looks like some 60-70's BMW, judging by the engine

  • lake lanier gorgia people ive been to it

  • That was a 1960 valiant.

  • you should really let someone know about that grave marker. The dates are 1932-1937 and it appears to be the whole grave of a five yearold child.

  • Look at the intake manifold design guys...BMW inline 6 cylinder

  • All i can say for sure is thats a 170 slant six do you wanna sell the intake?

  • @notanova i would if it wasn't under water at the moment.

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 WTF was that skeleton lookin thing?

  • @TheRebelman95 A fish.

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 i woulda grabbed it when I had the chance

  • wtf wheres the water

  • you should dig around the sides to see if the rest of the car is under there, it would be easier to identify, or just dig the front or back is it still has the grille or lights that would be easier too

  • What is that, at about 1:10 - 1:13? It looks like an animal / fish skeleton.

  • nice pet catfish.

  • did i see a headstone?

  • JIMMY HOFFA,S CAR

  • Wow that's dry! Where is this Lake Mead near Vegas?

  • @73SDR nope hoover reservior columbus ohio

  • @73SDR It's the reservoir behind the "Hoover Dam."

  • @zepherford I had no idea there were two Hoover Dams until now. That's funny that out of all the places this could be, besides the Hoover Dam that everyone knows, it's still by a Hoover Dam.

  • Does it still run ? Does it start ? Can you still drive it ? How much you want for it ? :D

  • @1968DodgePolara lol, it's scrap!

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 really ? Are you sure? LOL !!! :D

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 wtf is that at 1:11?

  • @onionman113 the skeleton from a catfish

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 that biG???

  • @onionman113 yeah it was pretty good sized.

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 dude it looks like it's 60 feet long

  • @onionman113 it's just the camera angle, it's only 1-2 foot.

  • valiant

  • slant 6

  • I think it's a BMW. Just cuz of the intake manifold.

  • wtf @ 1:10

  • @cambigfoot88 just a catfish- maybe 2ft? we found several just like this...

  • looks like a ford 6 cylinder something, man that lake is way down!

  • @Begbucks yes it is, the lakes down 10+ feet, were getting a lot of rain today, which sucks because everything will be mushy until it drys again, but i don't think it's gonna be enough to affect it much.

  • @GSRGOPEDRIDER247 wow thats bone dry!

  • must have been a great day for whoever lost the car... lmao

  • @kdwedge243 heck yeah! did you spot the remains of a sole from someones shoe near the axle? it's creepy!
