  • He's gone in November!

  • Ryan is big business's nigger!

  • Conservaturds screwed up everything they touched when they were in power and run the U.S. in a hole. Now they are telling everybody that they know how to fix this mess.

  • Any random kindergartner could think up a more coherent, doable, reality-based budget than Paul Ryan's dipshit fantasy-land budget.

  • oh my roadmap is NOT really a plan because the republicNUTS don't have a plan.

another great plan (no plan) from the party of NO

  • Wo... ten years out... I'm impressed.

That's gotta run like about 70 or 75 pages vs. the 39 page """budget"""" Boehner & Co., put out last year. Cuts down on the page count when you don't have all those pesky numbers and such in there.

  • How do you get a debt free nation with a debt based economy?

Either these people don't know what they're talking about or they're just lying to our faces-anyone else sick of it?

  • yeah and that's before the health care proposals...

  • Said proposals being all about insurance and not actual healthcare. It's really too too much.

  • And its making me sick...

  • Ya, but you're Jesus

what about the rest of the country?

    lol

  • Lol my first disciple

  • I've already started by moving to Canada

    Tea anybody?

  • 2 sugars

  • @Pleblian we drink coffee. You'll have to get familiar with T-Ho's while you're up here.

  • @Pleblian i thought if obama got elected you wouldnt move to canada?

  • @AgeisLiberatisLuces3

Nope... too many dumb asses changed my mind

  • You were big on hope and change weren't u? Enjoy Canada. You can't get free healthcare unless u are a citizen tho.

  • Oh it ain't over til the fat lady sings... It's just been a year.

After four years you have my permission to talk shit all you want.

  • Debt free nation for the next generation?? That's how we know this guy's "plan" is a LIE.

  • is this the little prick who is actually suggesting we privatize social security? after the conservatarded hack stock market already wiped away the jobs, homes and savings of millions of Americans?

  • Waht? did I miss something? Young guy making a move... seems classic and just muddys the water... can't be bad?

  • Hey Gingy

  • pay off the debt or get the deficit to zero.. these are big differences.. you will never pay off the debt and i would venture to say getting the deficit to zero is impossible. typical politician trying to BS the sheople.

  • @navtel, I wonder where was Ryun's "Magic Plan" to get our country debt free when GWB was in office?

  • @kaysandesses he was on msnbc promoting it at the time

  • @LeGio: was Ryan voting for or against Bush's outlandish spending bills?

  • I was just screwing around he was probably for it if he was even sitting in congress at the time

  • "I would venture to say getting the deficit to zero is impossible."

It was not only at zero, but was in surplus during the last two years of the Clinton Administration (with a Republican Congress), with the CBO predicting paying of fthe National Debt (which was only 6 tril at the time) by 2015.

It can be done by cutting military spending, keeping PAYGO rules, and not wasting money on unrealistic, Laffer Curve tax cuts for the wealthy.

  • @TrollBuster9090

    Well, to be fair.

Clinton's "zero deficit" left a lot of unfunded mandates with social security, and medicare.

And it assumed that the revenue from FICA taxes, was to be treated as general fund revenue.

So navtel's still right in a way.

    _

That said, it is possible to avoid deficits. However that involves things like raising taxes, and cutting military expenditures.

  • @greyflcn you said Obama couldnt possible be worse than GWB. well its worse. a lot worse.

  • @Ageis

There you go blaming the clean-up again.

  • First Republicans drive the country into a ditch, then they whine about the cost of the tow truck.

  • The Republicans did not drive the country in a ditch. The Democrats have been spend at levels far and above anything the Republicans did. Both spent too much but you cannot blame simply the Republicans.

  • @CommonSenseJoe

Which is why we had a budget surplus from Clinton? And how Bush screwed all that up with overspending in Iraq?

  • We had a surplus with a Republican controlled Congress then as well. The effects of 911 on the economy and changes made to address the new threat of terrorism cost money. This was unavoidable.

I won't dispute that President Bush spent too much money. However he did it because he was trying to work with Democrats. Both parties spend too much. This is why we have change the whole nature of game in regards to spending.
