Bob Kempainen vomited again and again in the final miles of the 1996 US Olympic marathon trials. Despite this, he WON the race and a berth on his second Olympic team. He is an example of never giving up!
athletico are a good team dey got out of their group in the champions league and have world class players do u see players like simao or aguero or rodriguez or forlan playing for wigan NO! cuz they are world class players
Nr: 1: I'm really from Norway, and I know more about Manchester than you will ever know, no offence. 2: I know 7 was his number, but I still thinks its ridicilous. CH is a fucking spoiled brat, I will never rate him as one of the 10 best players ever, he thinks of his salary, not the club he is playing in.
I´m sure you support Manchester. Great team, but Barça is better, ehhh! I agree with you. Ronaldo only thinks on his salary, but how say Luis Aragonés: In football you have to win,win,win,win and win again, and again!!!!!......
Ronaldo does that. If you like Manchester you must know that.
Barca has had 1 good year now and everyone says they are the best etc. But things chance, but not Manchester. Look at the last years, what team are the best? Manchester ofcourse:)
Why? Cause he has been a racist in the media, he called Eto'o a fucking monkey! Come on....Real Madrid is fucked up. They are no good. Using so much money on other stars cause they cant train their own talents are ridicilous.
Etoo did really bad when he said " Madrid cabrón saluda al campeón". The main problem of Real Madrid is that they train really goodplayers like Arbeloa, Mata, De la Red, Granero, Negredo....but Madrid doesn´t rely on them, so they play in other teams. I´d not have never paid 95 millioms for a man. Madrid could get other players for less money: Albiol, Villa, Granero, Maicón...
They could have build a fantastic team for 95 mill...There is'nt only 4-5 good players in the world. Look at manchester, they win with only 1 og the worlds top 10 players..Real Madrid is destroying everything. They dont care about passion, football, fun, they only care about fame and money
Well, i think that Carrick, Scholes, Ferdinand, Rooney, Vidic, Van der sar aren´t so bad. They are really good players. The fact is that Madrid want to win with passion, fottball and fun, but for them is difficult. Although it has spent much money for getting a man, i think they are going to play well next year, cos they´ve got players like Higuaín,Kaká,CR7, Ramos, Casillas, Lass, De la Red, Villa(I´m sure), Van der vaart and the most important player, Raul!!!!
I love Manchester, and think the players are great (ofcourse, why do they win so much?) but the rest of the world dont think carrick is THAT good, same with scholes ferdinand etc,.,,,,,CH, Ribery, etc are overrated
You think that about Carrick, Scholes, Ferdinand, but the reallity is that when Manchester was going to play the match against Barcelona, spanish commentators said that Barcelona should be careful cos Manchester players, apart of CR7, were really good. Specially this ones.
No. Mention 5 big players that have gone to atletico. Sorry to say, but in England nobody thinks atletico is good. They think of atletico like they think of Wigan
1. Diego Forlán. 2. Agüero. 3. Simao. 4. Bern Schuster. 5. Hugo Sánchez. 6. Vieri. 7. Futre. 8. Maxi Rodriguez. 9. Pantic. 10. Reyes. In this team had played many other famous players like Torres, Capdevila, Valerón or Caminero.
Here are the people that i know: 0:15 - Cristiano Ronaldo. 0:22 - Ronaldihno. 0:22 - Rafa Nadal. 0:24 - Ronaldo. 0:28 - Armstrong. 0:30 - Gervasio Deferr. 0:32 - Pau Gasol. 0:34 - Paula Radcliffe. 0:39 - Lebrom James. 0:53 - María Sharapova. 0:55 - Víctor Valdés. I don´t know who are the others.
-on her way to winning her second Olympic title in 1992 after winning the 100m dash, she hits the final hurdle, stumbling across the finish line in 5th.
My friend, you aint the first nor will you be the last to hurt for your sport. Where I come from, every game adds at least two blooming bruises to either my arms or legs but funnily enough, your on such an adrenaline rush that you actually don't feel them until 9 o'clock that night. If you have love for your sport and are willing to go till you collapse....then hurting for that sport wouldn't matter in the slightest.
@DJC11757 Not sure what sport you're playing, but I feel every pain in every step of every race I run. If I'm not hurting, I'm not running hard enough. Of course, I kind of enjoy it...
It's fun waking up the next morning and hearing what creaks and pops and what bruises have appeared where.

@tybo09 Hey man. It's Hurling. An Irish field sport. I've been playin it since I was 8. Trainin sessions are only half the battle. Every session adds a few extra bruises or cuts to my arms or legs but like I said before it don't bother me in the slightest. I was raised to love this game and that I'll continue to do regardless of the risk. I'd rather be playin the games of my country than being stuck to a couch all day. It'd do my head in!! :D
@tybo09 Thanks man. I know it's risky but damn worth it! And I'll admit long distance running wouldn't be my strong point. I'd probably hit "the Wall" just even thinking about it!! XDXD.
@DJC11757 Hurling goes beyond a game..it has raised me and the 15 men i have played with since i was 8 aswell, it is like a brotherhood. You feel you would die fighting for your 15 players, they feel your pain and you feel theirs..for 1 hour you are united as 1. I tried a hand at athlethics and i suddenly noticed how the only compitition is yourself. You must invite pain and challenge it and ignore the fact of how easy it would be quit. I see it as team game=physical battle, solo=mental battle
@alighogankid Ya really couldnt have put it any better bud. Like your good self I've been involved since street leagues and I spend almost every free moment available to me strikin a worn out Allstar sliotar against either the Alley wall in Douglas G.A.A or in the back garden. Like you said. It goes beyond a sport. Your body forgets to sense pain. It is all consuming, awe inspiring, never ending....and I love every second of it. Where are ya from yourself?
@DJC11757 ya i actually prefer to use a muntser bu we will set our dfferences aside;P phew i thought u wer gonna say u wer from kilkenny ther 4 a second! im from coachford if ya know it...play gaa wit aghabullogue. small country club bu play wit big heart.

CR7? Christiano Ronaldo 7? Thats not his name or initials. It is: "CH"
jonnybravo8 2 years ago
The main problem is that you are from U.S(I don´t wanna be offensive) so you don´t understand football completely.
C = Cristiano.
R = Ronaldo.
7 = His number in the back.

Yes but you can see it on the pricetag when other clubs want to buy them...its too low
jonnybravo8 2 years ago
The thing is that there are other young players who are reaching a great position in football world, so clubs prefer them cos they are young.
A clear example is Agüero. Atlético could get many other famous players, but the prefered to get a young boy who was improving himself.
ImTheSpanish 2 years ago
atletico could not get "many other famous players" nobody wants to go to athletico, outside spain.
