there is another way. you can apply audio suite for example an eq without actually changing anything. This will bounce (process) to disk. It will place the audio file in you audio folder.
I guess this could come in handy if you want to go through the entire project and make sure everything sounds right, at the same time you can real time record instead of waiting for your bounce and playing back and checking to see if it sounds right. This is good because you can fix any minor mistakes on the fly but still your waiting through the real time record which is the same time as a bounce. Am I right?
does the original master track's effects get included when bouncing to track? and is dithering also needed when bouncing to track. or is bounce to track sufficient to preserve the audio quality when exporting. thanx in advance.
One good thing about this video is you reminded me of the export option. Great for quickly processing V.O.'s for a show. Other than that you still have to real time the whole session at one point or another. Hope Avid will continue to listen to it's customers. Pro Tools 9 is a great start.

When you press record that is "real time" bounce, you're just making it twice as hard for yourself doing all that.

when i use bounce to disk n pro tools.
my wav files sound muddy and not like what it sounded like
inside protools.
and NO
its not the bit rate or any of that everything is set hq bit is recorded at 24 and bounced at 24.
its like something inside btd is making the sound weaker and a loss of quality when it comes out the other side its n wav files to.
so is there any way i can bounce what i hear n protools le 8.
without using bounce to disk. i don't have mac.

Yeh what's the difference u still have to real time record it to the track so u aren't saving time anywhere.
