Germanator93 may prefer "the Ray Charles version", but, in fact, Ray never recorded this version - i.e., with the original Harlan Howard lyrics...! You're only the 2nd person that I know of, Raymond, who has done so... the first being Patty Loveless. So you're in good company! I very much enjoyed your version, Raymond! Thanks for recording another great coal mining song, which has so much meaning in today's depressed economy... I'm sure a lot of us can relate to this poignant song...
