What a loving homage. There's no better way to express universal love than through delicious, nutritious food...especially homemade and generational. Virginia is a true saint and SF is damn lucky to have her as an institution. Please look after her as she has you, Bay Area.

I loved this Rockumentary, this lady was sent from heaven to feed, the underfed people of San Francisco, she was their guardian angel of Tamale Delight, God Bless Virginia the tamale lady! 6/15/09

Now I want some tamales! We had a taco lady in Omaha for several years. She'd come and make deep fried flour shells, with her own sauce. Two bucks for a huge taco as big as your head. Man, I miss that lady, she was so nice too.
