If the use of the word "customer" in the same sentence with the word "government" doesn't make everyone really really nervous than we're not paying attention. Look up the words "corporatism" and "fascism" and consider how exchanging the word "citizen" for the word "customer" in an atmosphere where corporate law and the almighty fiat dollar have replaced constitutional law and real money backed by something more than smoke and mirrors, and you'll begin to understand how you've been bamboozled

That could easily be solved by closing the tax loop-holes that corporations use. For example, Goldman Sachs paid 1% tax in 2008 by going through these loopholes. Ultimately, it's a problem with lobbying and campaign financing. Lobbying needs to be outlawed, and campaigns need to have a low funding ceiling.

If we closed the tax loop-holes, and took our troops out of other countries, we'd have a gigantic budget surplus. But, it won't happen because we've got the best government money can buy.

So much that needs to be done, but President Obama is at least allowing us to see what is being done. He has gotten so many people involved than ever before. Patience is needed, but time is needed more. WE THE PEOPLE needs to do all we can for ourselves and others in this great country.

Streamlining, simplifying, making intuitive and "transparent" the government-individual interface is an ongoing (never-ending) process. However, just to make government online systems fully integrated and coordinated with one another AND streamlined, etc., in JUST ONE AREA*, is unthinkably complex... so it's something that has to be "on the front burner" all the time for everyone.

* eg: taxes, treasury, bonds - Federal, state & local. An enormous problem, but it has unlimited potential.
