i loved wrestling then but they should have had andre win the belt or machoman sooner if only for lil while. hulkster winning every match by hulkin up even as a 7-8 yr old i wanted him to lose and i loved hulkster but loved macho man way more
@gjnice21 The all too predictable Hulk Hogan "Hulkasizing" routine was even old with kids then, that's for sure.Keep in mind then that he didn't even wrestle all that often on Superstars(previously Championship Wrestling) or Wrestling Challenge, yet it was still annoying.
lol at Hulk... it's funny in hindsight, but isn't it strange that Hogan could do so many heel-ish things and still be the babyface in the storyline? From being too busy to help Orndorff, to coming out and stealing Andre's spotlight, to loving Elizabeth 'like a sister', to being a sore loser in the Rumble after Sid threw him out... but he was the good guy, haha
@herculeshernandez I agree...we're still at the point where Hogan could do no wrong here (including to me as an 11 year old kid at the time)...but people did eventually get sick of it...following the Sid incident, they had to re-dub boos and new commentary in order to keep Hogan as the good guy going into Wrestlemania VIII.
@Derby14 I actually found a copy of a live taping of the 1992 Royal Rumble and the fans were going absolute batshit for Sid Justice and booing Hogan. Its a shame Justice took off for WCW when he could have outlasted Hogan and became champion somewhere down the line.
@herculeshernandez The look of disgust slowly coming over Andre's face as Hogan kept running his mouth was classic. Subtle, but part of the great buildup to WM3. :)
Gotta love technology. This is probably VHS but for the 80's it was pure quality. now today with HD and all that jazz, this is like watching 1960's color tv.
So FAKE

What a prick move by Hogan to interrupt Andre and steal the spotlight...no wonder why the Giant turned on him!

That "March 29" logo in the promo for Wrestlemania III might be the coolest thing of all times...
