@Localmode Batteries make no difference because they dont apply in these particular trucks- these in the vid are running AC amps- they are ran in 1 2 or 3 alternator class and so on- batteries are DC so no batts needed here. The revs are so the alts reach full field to keep up with the demands of the amps. In big DC rigs the batts are only there for a buffer for when their charging systems cant keep up with the requirements of the boxes. But the DC rigs are loaded with heavy duty batteries.
paulshinn. im not sure if your being sarcastic or not, but that "tent frame" is actually a directional antenna. this is a citizens band radio keydown contest where they use thousands of watts to try to come out on on top they are recorded to show who the winner is, the reason for all the engine rpm is to run at least 6 alternators that power the linear amplifiers.
the was a 54 project--they were trying to beat the pvc pipe system that 222,bb made back in early 2000

Dumbest think I've ever seen. Why not just load them down with high amp batteries? It would be easier and probably cheaper.
