oh, i knew i recognized that thumbnail. very same tutorial i used to learn the basics for 3dsmax. i didn't really make the joan of arc model, but i made a similar one based on the tutorial.

Actually, I find Blender as intuitive as any other software, and I've used many major softwares, such as Maya, 3D Studio Max and Cinema 4D. Blender is only a learning curve, but so is any other package.

I wouldn't say that it's equal to 3D Studio Max, for example. It's a learning curve, none the less. But I've been able to do anything i've ever done in Cinema 4D in Blender.

@Agentdvd I think so, I used 3dsmax 6 for a long time and then decided blender would be a good idea if I wanted to create anything commercially and Blender feels about as good as Max actually a bit better. I only wish it had caustics, etc..

Such Irony, I just spent the last 3 hours cursing this bitch joan , such a pain in the ass. So I give up and say let me go on youtube and get some tips on modeling humans and the first video that pops open is.. guess who ? FUCKING JOAN !! ARGH !!!!!!!!!!

Anyways. good job.. wish I could get this stupid model to come out right. This peice of shit document to make Joan of Arc was slopped together by this jack ass and totally leaves parts out.. basically saying " Oh you will figure it out.."

Yeah, I probably should. The only problem is that the techniques are geared at high poly modeling and I am more into low poly for games and stuff. still It couldnt hurt to give it another try.
