If there's one thing I don't like about Team Sleep is that the songs never seem to exactly take off (ok, this is just a kind of interlude/intro, I'm saying generally), they could use a bit more dynamics, especially because of Zach Hill and Chino Moreno. My husband died recently, I just think about him alot & he burned alive in a bad wreck. I hope he didn't suffer too long. I just was commenting on dying peacefully or at least in Gods Grace. My husband looked a lot like Chino, so I think of him often when I see Deftones vids and such. He was 26. It's never easy to understand why young ppl die, whether it's accidental, suicide, or health issues.

Don't worry NrrrdGrrl. This is indeed Chino's side project, but Deftones are alive and well. They have a new album due out fall of 2009, called Eros. A new bass player has taken over Chi's job, he's called Sergio Vega. Oh, and by the way, Chi is reportedly getting better. Try searching for Melanie in here. This is a new Deftones song, which they played live before Chi's accident.

I have a Team Sleep promo dvd released in 2005 with this video on it. From what I understand its pretty rare. It's like a 'behind the scenes' look at the album with song previews. Its only like 10 minutes long but its so amazing. If I had the software to upload it I would. I know fellow Team Sleep fans would love it as much as I do.
