There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the fiddle playing in this song. This particular video posted by xxxMercurio has a problem with the replay in several parts including around 2:14 and 3:30. Find a better version of the video and you'll see what I mean.

I absolutely love the original song. This one is just weird. The only thing that saves this song at all is Johnny. Using the fiddler for the spoken parts didn't work. Its wooden and stilted whereas Johnny is lyrical and natural.

it kinda did/didn't. it did because it was a really good fiddle song not really for guitar so it didn't really sound to good. it didn't because since most people don't listen to fiddle music anymore the new rock verson lets people listen to a classic song with the moderen style rock
