First off, just want to say I subscribed! Super fantastic! I Just listened to the original after hearing this though, and I have to say, I preferred it to this rendition due to its more melancholy nature, but has a perfect bit of whimsy that off-sets it. There just seems to be a much more subtle tone to the song that resonates with the more than here, and I mostly feel that that is due to Jack's more bombastic style of writing that drowns out that subtlety and gets a bit too much in-your-face.

The first time listening to this it about broke my heart because the original was so heart wrenching and beautiful and I often go back and listen to. A very jarring experience.
