I'm a convert in the works, I used to be VERY anti-mac, but the new ones coming out, espeically with intel chips, have been so appealing, I'm saving up for one atm and am getting it the first chance I get!!

As an IT professional who works in the trenches, nothing could be less true. The virus problem alone is enough to justify switching platforms. The college campus I used to administrate lost tens of thousands of dollars in estimated productivity and down time every time there was a new nimda, clez, code red, and what have you... or does everyone forget how damaging those attacks were to corporate networks? No thanks. All my customers who've switched to Mac have never wanted to go back.

You all are so stupid. Its all about preference. Neither is better. If you are a gamer or don't have alot of money then windows is the better option. If you do alot of things with media and slickness, design, and visuals are important to you then go with mac. If you are a coder and hate both mac and windows then go with linux. It's stupid to generalize and say macs crash more than Pc's. From my experience macs hardly ever crash. It just depends on how well you take care of your machine.
