I never understood why Flashback didn't become more iconic in the early '90s. It was ported to Genesis, Super NES, Sega CD, plus it was on Amiga and I don't know what else. Probably the most sophisticated platformer ever made.

The only mistakes they did was abandoning the 32X early, and a sweet 2D sprite processing machine (Saturn) and then decide to make/release only 3D games and refuse the release of 2D games or RPGs due to the US branch's Bernie Stolar having his head firmly implanted...Yeah, the Saturn was a flaw, but the Dreamcast was just that... A gaming dream come true... Dare I say the perfect council? Oh yes. I dare.

Of course that last bit is a joke, but the DC did have some great games.

Final Fantasy II and III, Mario World 1 and 2, the Donkey Kong Countries, pretty much every third party genesis game except for EA sports, and lets admit it, sports games don't age well unless they're NHL 94, Mortal Kombat may be censored but Mortal Kombat II is just as bloody and has bettter graphcs, Mario Allstars, Super Gameboy, Star Fox, Super Punch Out!!, Super Metroid and Kirby Superstar.
