Hey I've been wanting to make my own costume in the same exact fashion, only problem is I have literally no idea how to make the head :( I have no prior paper mache, cheesecloth or epoxy experience. Thanks for the comments guys.. I put this post up ENTIRELY to encourage anyone else to replicate, so I'm flattered to see that it's being done. For those of you doing it, CAREFUL! If going somewhere heavily populated, be prepared to be completely mauled by NBX fans, so watch out. I saw a Jack Skellington costume for the first time at a sci-fi con in Los Angeles in the mid-90s. The guy wasn't using stilts, he was just a very thin, tall man. But the thing that absolutely MADE the costume was the way he moved. He had that unearthly gate and arm/hand movement down to a T. It was absolutely surreal.

Wow, great costume. You did a great job on the 'Jack Skellington' head. Hate to be a downer...but you need to be really careful about some of the special effect contact lenses that are available. A girl wore some 'glow in the dark' lenses, and ended up blind in one eye for about 6 months.
