Chris Dodd wrote the language in the Stimulus bill which GUARANTEED that the employees of AIG would get these bonuses, and almost every Democrat in Congress, including ALL of the idiots currently complaining about the situation now, voted in favor of it! Both Dodd and Obama got huge contributions from AIG last year, so why are they allowed to keep that money when AIG employees can't?

I just visited California (from Australia) and I liked it very much, you should go DEMCAD. The whole situation is sick...don't believe the hype, the economy is on a straight and narrow path towards a horrific depression. They can talk up things all they want, housing forclosures are still rising faster every month, unemployment rising in record numbers, States are bankrupt, business environment has collapsed...nothing has changed except things are getting worse....Obama..."economy is sound" yeah, well, thats a ridiclous statement...Stock market=Bear market rally...soon to be over

The AIG fiasco just shows how corrupt the system is. Imagine a company losing 62 billion dollars and giving bonuses for good performance. What would thye have gotten if they lost twice as much?

There were good performances since AIG managed to raise funds through bailouts. This money raised appeared the very same as any other money raised by other means therefore good result and thus bonuses.
