@kregzdeM3 thats one damn good blender you have! im not saying these things sound bad, they sound friggin phenomenal, but i still love the sound of an older american muscle like the Chevy 454 or Boss 429. and take a look at it this way... BMW M3, 414 HP... Mustang GT 5.0, 413 HP, but much lighter and about $3000 CAN$ less. runs a 1/4 mile in about 0.2 sec less, and sound like a monster truck when piped. im all for saving money for something a little faster! haha.

2011 Mustang GT 5.0: power to weight ratio: 8.7

BMW M3 E92: power to weight ratio 9

But the BMW is better on the track and it only has a 4 liter v8.

And if you want something that beat the crap out of the mustang

there is the M3 GTS which weights 200kg less than the current M3 and produces 450 hp.

And soon in a couple of year the new M3 is going to come out.

@GangstaDogg21 .3 lb/hp is actually a big difference. and if you wanna compare a GTS, then theres the GT500KR, pushin about 450hp. and the M3 is pushin a 5L, not a 4. and i have no doubt that the M3 would be better on the track. the technology that goes into those things is just phenomenal. but im from canada, our road conditions are terrible and it's not even remotely safe to exceed 110km/h on most roads, so most people here prefer a 0-60 car more that a car that can take a corner at 100k.

BUT this...this really sends goose bumps...the sounds the speed of gear change...thats one hell of a well thought out, well sorted race car and it's a bmw to boot....just awesome. I don't dislike Judd engines, in fact if i was going to race on an hillclimb I would like to race with a Judd powered sports prototype (wrongly called barchetta). It´s just a question of principles.Would you put another engine inside a Mercedes, Porsche or a BMW? Besides, BMW has better engines than Judd. I mentioned the S62 5 liter V8, but there are other better BMW engines.
