Same as every STS9 show I ever see. Even the "new" songs arent sounding any different. If I saw Arigato or Aimlessly at a daytime show, they wouldnt sound any different. How can you say there's more "energy" when its the same every time?
I am so thankful for Crystal Method and Motion Potion. They put on incredible shows at the same time and made for an incredible latenight. Glad I only spent a few mins walking through the crowd at Tribe.
best sts9 set i have EVER seen. The Rabble that night was absolutely out of control. I love their new stuff and thought they integrated it beautifully into their set. It was by far the best show at Rothbury that I saw, they kept it rolling all night long and did their fans proud. It's sets like these that make me love Sound Tribe so much.
worst sts9 show i ever seen. boring boring boring. trying to push the new stuff when people needed to party. not a good idea. too much trying to be a jam band when that is not what they are good at. they should have stuck with what they do best, not try to be something they are not. & plz stop trying to be like phish.
THANK YOU! i've been saying the same thing and getting shot down every time. STS9 fans are turning into Phish fans where they can do no wrong and anything they do will be considered "amazing." Luckily the chemicals kept me interested but the music was nothing short of repetitive, draggy, and ho hum.
hey i was wondering (since u guys seem like die hards) if u could give me suggestions of a show i could download on the archive or something where the band is at their best. I personally liked this show. i also have their show from re:generation which was pretty sick. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
how was their set at rothbury anything at all like phish? when and where did they jam like a jam band? sts9 does their thing pretty much the same all over. you can download the soundboard recording of this show. its really good. but not jammy
This was only a decent show in my book. They hardly did any experimentation or jamming (due to the many 1st timers in attendance would be my guess). However, they did somewhat make up for it lengthwise clocking in at over 3 1/2 hours
haha dude i remember that inflatable monkey! it was like the one thing the gaurds would throw back. but thanks for the credit i was pretty messed up when i was tryin to record all these
yo whoever took this video is the shit, im pretty sure i was like right behind you, i threw out 500 glow sticks and a 3 foot inflatable monkey with glow sticks all over it
