The Concorde flew for 27 yrs and has been retired for almost a decade. But it looks so new, so exciting, so timelessly futuristic.

@blooddude Is this really true?! Are you sure, that BA "damaged" its Concordes in a way that prevents them from being restored to flight? I can't believe this as the British always emphasize their love for this airplane while the french seem less emotional towards it.

It took my breath away to watch it take off. Such dignity man had. We still had the dream. I had the dream. So many of us did. Some still do. She was retired without true cause. Every technology and generation has the best of something. Concord. The name said it all.

This truely is a lovely video. It saddens me to think I'll never see her fly over my house again. Perhaps one day a rich enthusiast will restore one to it's former glory and we'll see her at an airshow. I live in hope.

I notice how British Airways "forget" to mention that they deliberately cut their Concordes up so they could NEVER be restored to flight.

Everytime BA show an advert with Concorde in it, I find it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, that they ensured this aircraft would never fly again.
