I culdn't help criticize your video... but atleat the world out there acknowledges that POK is administered by pakistan and claimed by india. But the way you guys are displaying the map might change the opinion of the world...
fuck off north indian...you have no idea about english grammer and illiterate racy..as american every south indians speak very good english where I travel in southern india...but you bullshits north indian language (hindi)...all riksha drivers does not know more than 20 in hindi either....north india is illiterate idiots....south of india is very beautiful and people are so knowledged..
@ubersimba - please say englis....in your style buddy as you proud to be a north indian....Thik hey.....tok hey...chalo.....this is what you folks end up with americans here.....dont forget...englis....! funny clowns....
reflexion is an idiot.what is he smoking? i found this video hilarious! and it's so much fun! lighten up dude! release the stack of pennies stuck up your ass! it will give you so much relief!
Couldn't help but add another comment here: Anita Desai - Hindi, Urban UP???? Hilarious!!! For starters, pray, what is a "Hindi, Urban UP" accent? And then, whatever it is, you slot no less a person than Anita Desai into it!! Dude, what were you smoking?
Whoever posted this is a)not a linguist, b)knows very little about accents, especially of those in the English language, and c) knows even less about socio-economic stratification that leads to accents arising in the first place. Nice try, dude, but you fooled no one. Just one glimmer of hope: it seems you are genuinely interested in the subject matter. Keep at it and you may finally distil some knowledge out of the world around you. Good luck.
@reflexion1212 Are you claiming that economic status plays a larger role in accent formation than native language? So native German speakers who are wealthy would speak English with an unrecognizable different accent than poorer German speakers?
Jayasuriya's English improved a lot with time-good for him. Mittal, Abdullah and few others spent lots of time in England and other English speaking countries when young, so less authentic Indian accents from them.
I have a young professor who's from Delhi and a friend from Indore, both whose first tongue is Hindi. Definitely Northern, but they're accents are quite different from each other.
@HCEveningWalk Are you kidding? They're very very different. But it's about attuning your ear, and so I understand if you find it hard to differentiate.
It is nice. But most of the guys spoke good accent. These guys are professionals, so we can not distinguish much. But if you can get the videos of normal ppl from different states then it will be so much of fun to watch. Moreover we can easily make out the difference when ppls from TN,AP, Kerala, Karnataka, Bihar, UP and some north eastern states. By the way i am from AP but settled in USA.

@mramakrishnaraju I really wanted to include more non-professional/actor/politician accents but couldn't find many examples in English with good video quality. If you do find some send them my way! :)
Only South Indians and Northeasterners have accents that are unique and distinguishable from the standard North Indian accent. No one can be mistaken for a Malayali, Tamil, Andhra, or Mizo but North Indians can be easily mistaken for each other.
