Can someone tell me more about the uniforms ? Why are these guards not wearing the red coats and black .... on their heads ??

They belong to a different regiment.
Only the Foot Guards wear the scarlet tunics and bearskin caps.

Not only Foot Guards wear the Scarlets, Grenadier and Fusiliers do as well among others. But, this seems to be Engineers which would explain the Patol Blues.

@Kippenheim That only applies to their bands and/or Corps of Drums, which maintain their historic uniforms.
The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers wear berets, with the exception of their band and Corps of Drums like I said; they wear the busby.

The palace guards did a great job with that, especially the band! I'm going to England and Scotland with People To People soon, and we're gonna watch that. One of the guys at my school who are going said he was gonna try to piss of one of the guards. I'm gonna smack him if he tries.

If he values his teeth he won't do it. The guard is entirely within his rights to respond to an assault of this nature. They are NOT expected to ignore cretins like your schoolmate.

The sound is very good on this video and the guards bands are so good I think it would be hard to do better, cheers.

Thanks for taking this clip. i was one of the marching troops at the time - i am the first man with a sword directly behind the band as i was the captain of the Queen's Guard on that day. We are trying to collate any footage of when our unit was on over the late summer months - this is one of about 6 clips so thank you.

This march is called "WASHINGTON GRAYS" by Claudio Grafulla, a Menorcan born composer. One of my favourites!!!
