If you light one pyre the beasts attacks get worse, I gathered 15 logs for 3 pyres and used them on the pits. I died a few times but you die at the start point of the quest and you still have your logs. If you build a pyre but do not light it, it will not stay and you will have to do it all over again.

Tip for people doing this quest: instead of the terrorbird use the salt water spring in ooglog. It gives infinite run for a limited time.

You will see little colors flying around after each attack. What ever grave the color lands in, that is where it is. You have to pay attention. I thought I was able to do this without extra food, I was wrong =P

also, for the first room pyres, its best to fill them all with logs, and them light them. the monster attacks are faster and more deadly after each of them is lit.

Defense probably won't help. 90 hp WILL help. Bring some food and something to recharge run. Restock and heal after every cave.

You can attack the Corp beast in the real world while the spirit beast can only be deafeted during this quest.

if you wanted to save money, bring shark. you lose 2x the hp count w/ food. but i would suggest 5 FULL saradomin brews, and the rest tuna potatoes. tuna potatoes heal 22 in one bite, and 1 dose of saradomin brew is 16 hp.

so if you had as much food he had you would have 320 hp xtra just in the brews, plus your normal hp. now for the tuna potatoes... 22x14 = 308 now for grand total= 628 and whatever your normal hp is. saradomin brew also actually raises your hp lvl from what is normally! enjoy!

Well, the corporal beast is really the spirit beast in the real world in solid form. You kill it in the Spirit World, but it comes to the real world in a solid form. That might be confusing, but that is the best I can think of ^_^

When you see the Spirit Beast charging a color, try to remember which one they went in.
