  • This is pretty cool.

  • THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF PHILIPPINE INGENUITY!!!!

  • LMFAO this is MAKING REGULAR ICE CRAEM, NOT FRIED LOL wtf. this noob

  • first video that actually put quotation marks on fried. e.g. "Fried" it gave me the right assumption since it kinda looks like our lumpiang shanghai but prepared like the wrap for crepes w/c is odd because you don't fry that either. XD any-who well done! great video!

  • Iv'e tried this. It tasted okay but it was very, very sweet. I had to buy bottled water while eating it.

  • wait is this video recorded in SM Megamall or Market! Market! ??

  • @jobo9173 This was recorded in SM Megamall

  • @hushdawg oh tnx.

  • I love this!!!!! hahahaha at first I said mommy, daddy look fried ice cream! Is it really fried, my dad said no, the "frying pan" is actually a frozen metal pan. Then I saw in the internet that there was actual fried ice cream..................

Anyways these are soooo good!!!!!! Love it~

  • This reminds me of crepes!

  • @kyle556owns Yeah, it does kinda look like crepe the way the mixture is spread out!

  • I already tasted this,, It was AWESOME!!!

  • PINOY BABAYOG

  • Thumbs up if your pinoy!!!

  • when i looked at how it was made,i thought that she was making pan cake..then when i tasted it,its better that normal ice cream

  • theres another brand and better fried icecream in the philippines its called fried icecream seriosly

  • i always buy that every saturday

  • i've ate tht before it tasted awesome! I tried the pandan thts personally my favorite flavor :3

  • I thought this was amazing and still do i love the shaved rolls ...i even started looking up other fried ice creams in this method and found out that here in America they call it Icepan or something like that ...well i think the store is called that. But i still like the rolled version over the scooped icepan version anytime. ^_^

  • hahahah its funny racist claims that philippine is a third world country when in fact they are more ignorant than the people in the philippines its pathetic. what a shame some people lives in some other progressive country as they claim but THEY STILL PROVE COMMON SENSE IS NOT COMMON. huh!.. if only some people would care to read the description.

  • did she allow you to record her? :> though i see this in cebu. i didnt get a taste yet >.<

  • is this in cebu

  • i tried this at SM calamba and and i thought it was hot so i waited for 2 minutes then took a big scoop and put it in my mouth and BAM! instant brain freeze! i tried the strawberry one it was good but it was soooo many you can never finish it by yourself LOL XDD

  • Fillipina I meant

  • It's really good my mom know how to cook some so TGIF proud to be a Columbi

  • I'm just amused that in 3 years and over 73,000 views that only about a dozen people apparently read the description.

  • all the haters should get their face "fried" on that pan..LOL

  • @rahyan16 it will be cold haha!

  • Dammit. They call it FRIED because people in the Philiipines won't buy it if it's named as Teppanyaki. (It's some sort of business naming)

First, Japanese terms are NOT common in the Philippines and second, not one word in the description said that it is "DEEP" fried. It uses a very cold pan of some sort...

  • @mig515 really clever, repeating what OP just wrote, too make yourself look smarter.. R-tard

  • @Lalay736 Please read the full description before commenting

  • @Lalay736 this is what happens when americans see food being prepared without any fat. it just pisses u off doesnt it ?

  • @Lalay736 God, man. Please shut the fuck up for a second and think before you spew nonsense out of that trash bin mouth of yours.

  • @Lalay736 you wouldn't like it. it wouldn't fit with your fat/sugar/oil induced palate.

  • @Lalay736 you're stupid.

  • @Lalay736 the cooking pan id\s freezed

  • @Lalay736 It tasted very sweet like my ass.. wanna try??

  • yes!!pinoy forever!!

  • Pinoy ang kapamilya!! ^^

  • if you're gonna do a video like this you shouldn't have caught her face, she might have gotten fired or something.

  • I've had one. That pan thing isn't on heat. It's cold. So technically it's not "fried".

  • @TheCatryyna i really need your help whats the ingredients for this liquid thing that turns to "ice cream"

  • @TheCatryyna i agree

  • @TheCatryyna Pls. read the description

  • Looks yummmmy ... I want to try some even though I'm sure it tastes like regular ice cream

  • @hmoobbeauty

it does but the flavour is more concentrated, sweeter, and its also harder then the usual ice cream.

  • just get ice cream... roll it egg yoke and then roll in corn flake crumbs (or biscuit crumbs if ya wanna)... freeze for an hour then drop in hot oil for 15 secs... thats proper deap fried ice cream :)~

  • its called fried ice cream in Philippines beacause look its like being fried or am I just trying to make my own answer 0_o

  • That is amazing, at first I just assumed they were cooking it because I was watching people frying ice cream balls, but then realized that it was being frozen. I just makes one wonder what else is going on out there.

  • looks good! pinoys are the best! haha. i love the philippines(:

  • Haha I know this isn't fried, but it still looks good....

  • it looks like a big pancake :))

  • Looks good!

  • I see no frying nor ice cream

  • what is this call fried ice cream?

There is no oil or frying involved?

Look more like freezing the liquid

  • michael jaxon's but a woman?

  • @LalaChick30 you are right sometime i pick my nostril scratch my balls or just pick or scratch my asshole before i handle money hahah

  • Its cold or hot ? i have nvr had it b4 ):

  • common sense, people. I know that isnt fried, but if you told the filipinos who speak in tagalog "teppanyaki", they wont buy it. The word "fried" associated with "ice" cream just amazes people. Its called MARKETING, people. and by the way, the Philippines is located in south east asia. I already tried this. I thought heat was involved in this, but yeah, you cannot cook ice cream directly. that would be making it cream, not ice cream. lol

  • there used to be a restaurant called al bebs where i live in england, they would take a ball of actual ice cream (not this processed stuff) cover it in batter and deep fry it for about 5 seconds, the core would still be frozen but the outside was hot and crunchy.

  • how is it fried ice cream if it isnt fried, it just defeats the purpose

  • that's no how you make fried ice cream! ;)

  • I want a machine like that! Make ice cream everday haha XD

  • wow alot of people who watched this video dosent know where Philippines is... its somewhere in south east asia... close to the equator and its kinda small.. i know that cause im born in the Philippines and i tried this fried well.. pure frozen ice cream before.. and it was in the same mall as in the one in this video..

  • because most are YANKS!

  • phillipines is where Carding and Luisa live..lols..im from NZ and LOVE da show..aww man..soooo da BOMB

  • I've never seen anyone use a paint scraper for food before. Looks pretty good tho.

  • Where is this is this in the Philippines or is this in the U.S.

  • i saw this when i went to mexico as well, do they sell or make this ice cream anywhere in the US?

  • it looks like a "homemade" ice cream made from scratch =]]] but i cant wait to try this when i go back home to phils. Saang mall ito?

  • Waahh that looks soo good! I wanna try that someday... Kinda reminds me of how I make crepes XD.

  • that actually looks great. it's in such a small quantity, and its cold... i prefer cold items over hot. not that I would turn to eating anything deep fried on even a monthly basis lol. It's ironic they still call it deep fried, when they aren't "frying" the batter anymore though. I guess the term stuck because that's what people are familiar with.

  • i was back hom last jan , did they just come out wit this?

  • PACQUIAO! lol

  • Wow - looks great! Thanks for the post :)

  • I have never seen something like this before. VERY, VERY nice! Where is this located?

  • philippines bro :D

  • pretty cool!! never seen that method in my life and i'm a filipina myself! (filam) thanks for uploading!

  • Dude, that is so so awesome! I'd fly there just to check it out! I'm TAKEN.

thanks for posting, bro. you rock

  • thanks!!! I never HAVE seen this method before...

  • how much for a portion?

  • where is this?

  • im hungry now!

  • no, thats NOT fried ice cream.. thats teppanyaaki

  • Once again someone who doesn't read the description.

You can't sell "Teppanyaki Ice Cream" in the Philippines, nobody would buy it.

Do the same thing and say "fried" and people go nuts for it.

Shit, I just posted a video of something I thought was cool and all I get are people haranguing me over the term "fried."

  • ive eaten that once when were in mall of asia.yummy !

  • Respect. :D

  • Thats not fried ice cream. Its teppanyaki ice cream. Singapore Marina sq's yuki yaki allows u to DIY this teppanyaki ice cream yourself.

  • Ok, fine.. but it is advertised as fried ice cream.

that's why fried is in quotation marks.

I swear nobody knows how to read, just type... sheesh.

  • @hushdawg -Yep, yer right hushdawg, people everywhere are dumbed down and it gets worse every year. Dumbed down the worst are the Americans who are spoiled and arrogant to boot. There's a big lesson headed their way ...

  • ay! oo alm ko 2!!

    bimili kami dati jan eh!

ung parng may word na 'plan' ung kinain ko ang sarap then ung sa pinsan ko prng pistacho ata un ung color green meron pa nga clang 'mint-' ewan baxta ang sarap!

  • go pinoy! i luv that ice cream! its amazing. it looks like pastry the way they make it!

  • wow i would love to try this, however, it looks like a pastry not icecream?

  • it's ice cream.. sort of.. it is flash frozen mixture of milk, flavoring, sugar...

  • @hushdawg I didn't see any milk involved. Looked like sugar, chocolate syrup, and water. I wonder how they decided to call it fried when there's no deep-fryer, no oil, no heat involved. Why not Flash-Frozen? Fresh? Made-To-Order?

  • @Dee3BoobTube --you need to read all of Hushdawg's comments. Seems like you can spell, and read ..... but not read very carefully.

  • @durgaaa I was pretty sure I read everything... What am I missing? A comment that wasn't highlighted at the top? Does Teppanyaki mean one of the terms I suggested? Are all the terms I suggested illegal? lol

  • lol im fillipino too lol i love this :p nice lol

  • I've been there in the IloIlo SM City Mall and i ate that like 10 times! It's so good!

  • badass i use to live near thier wow i didnt know it was thier i cant wait to check it out

  • want that!

  • your in the phillipines thats halarious thats where i am going in 5 months and were ill live for the summer wher ill need ice cream

  • hdbvwfjebvwrhjgfhbgrihyjbktr gimeeeeeeeeeeeeee!hbvfjbhjev jhb2bmfvj 3ehfjmb fn kji want it I WANT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my fave icecream!!!!!!!!!!

  • I had fried icecream like this in Philippines before~ Yummehh

  • namit haw!

  • Awesome. O_O

  • It looks delicious! I think it's the easiest way.

  • Nobody said it was deep fried.

    You loose at life.

You are the weakest link. Goodbye.

  • Ha ha! You took the phrase out of context to use it in everyday life! So funny!

  • where can I try this kind?? can someone tell me the name of this mall?? it looks good.

  • It's in Megamall but I've seen the Frito Frio stands in other malls here in the Manila area.

  • is this frying? i think its actually a really cold plate and they r rolling up sheets of quick frozen ice cream

  • Dude... read the video description.

"fried" is in quotation marks because it isn't really fried but that is how they market it. I already stated in the vid description that it is flash frozen on a cold metal plate.

  • still looks good, i wish they had this in the states instead of stupid dip n dots.

  • the dip n dots are good..

  • dip n dots is a poser ice cream.

  • Woah...that was really cool! Or rather reeeeally cold XD */bad joke*

  • ahah wtf , indeed bad joke, ^^

  • kcholt11 ../.. you ^_^ dont watch videos in youtube if u dont like it ../.. man ../.. you hard

  • thats weird and cool i have to try it

  • im pinoy my aunt has a vid about that check it out too at nikkirosety's channel

  • oh i tried one,it taste good.

  • They dont call it 'deep' fried ice cream. Just fried. Deep fried would involve submerging battered ice cream into oil. This is a different method.

  • The funny thing for me is that it is advertised as fried ice cream, but it isn't fried at all, it is spread out on a supercooled metal plate.

And thanks for that.. nobody ever said it was deep fried. That's why the word "fried" is in quotation marks.. because it is a misnomer.

  • yup =)

  • sometimes i wonder why people don't read the description... it might help to look at the title and read the description before watching.. at least thats what i do
