What would you say to someone that did nothing but green smoothies and fruit for 60 days? Would it help them lose weight? Would they be able to tone up with resistance training and 30 minutes of cardio everyday with green smoothies?

@sjagain Green Smoothie recipes? Not drinking them currently, but I just went for a basic approach, as much green as I could bear and some lemon, lime and/or avocado to sweeten it a bit...
I'm on day 10 off the juice fast. Starting weight 218lb now I'm down to 205lb. The only problem I'm have is along with fat I have lost muscle. Do you think I should add protein shakes to my fast?
@franklinedmond Fantastic that is a nice amount of weight loss right there, I am sure by now you have lost more. I would not recommend adding protein to your fast because vegetables have a ton of protein - Just be sure to juice green vegetables as well and you should be fine!
@franklinedmond 13 pounds already; that's fantastic! I wondered the same thing, and decided if I wasn't getting enough protein from raw veggies, I would add green protein powder. Something to look into if you feel the same.

@sjagain ha ha, yes I am still alive, just been very busy with work commitments. I plan to ramp up the videos again soon, once I get this juice fast ebook done. That is what is holding me up presently (getting that finished). Everything is still going well, I am 100% on track, still living a vegan lifestyle and while the weight loss has slowed, am still losing weight each week :) Appreciate your concern!
@mlwelter I have smoothies 1-2 times per day and a regular meal in the evening. Still a vegan lifestyle though. Some days I will have a salad and swap out a green smoothie for that. No juicing for me for now!
You should go to a doctor and have them do a blood work up. I'd be very interested in your current cholesterol levels along with your blood pressure. I have lost 30 pounds over a course of a month after seeing a holistic doctor. However, I have not had any improvement in cholesterol or bp. If you have positive results in health, I would be motivated to try a month juice fast.
@Hyperborea2012 I did go to the doctor and do my blood work, take a look at my channel video now (the one that auto plays when you visit my channel on youtube). It explains what happened before and after. A lot of good results including perfect blood pressure now of 110/80 ! I have another video where I go into details about my results as well, that was towards the end of the 56days.
Tim just wondering if you have posted recipes for your green smoothies and I missed them? If you haven't posted them, would you mind? I'm really curious to know what goes in them. Thanks!
@dodteach I haven't posted yet but I will. They are pretty basic. Today I had spinach, celery, brocolli, ice, water, banana and lemon. Needed another fruit for a bit more zest, but I still like drinking them!
I already have a Wii console and was considering getting a Wii Fitness game with balance board and was wondering if you think its a good purchase? Are there any other fitness games for the Wii that you suggest?
@guestaccount26 Wii Fit Plus is a great game, it is better than the original game called wii fit. There is a good mixture of yoga, action, muscle/coordination, etc type games and mostly it's fun. So I recommend that game. I do suggest you get the wii fit board (which that game needs)... Good value. there are other fitness games but this is the one I am more experienced with.
