This is hysterically laughable. When the worlds oil supplies are depleted the only country that will have oil is the U.S.
The United states has more oil reserves in shale oil in the Colorado rockies than the rest of the world has all together. So we'll see who's laughing last and it won't be Dubai, Kuwait, or any of the Arab Emirate states.
@JAG03064 probably but...try to imagine what will be the price of gasoline when to obtain one barrel of oil from colorado rocks you have to spend 0.5 barrel or more of energy.
The oil fields in the world will never be depleted, the problem is that to extract that remained oil we have to spend the same energy gained, so 1 barrell out= 1 barrel in and it means no energy
@nextlifeguitarist The reason the Arab Emirates are building basically their own version of Disney is the fact they are running out of oil and they will need another form of revenue that's why all of the sudden influx in construction over the past ten years. Supposedly there are geology reports prove it.
No doubt fuel costs will be astronomical from refinement but it won't bother the U.S. as much they will make other countries pay it such as the U.S. does now. He who laughs last laughs best.
