  • shut the fuck up crowd

  • does anybody know where this was performed?

  • what a performance.. amazing

  • @fridwoow: excellent!

  • All American style music. Transends all generations.

  • Como recuerdo estas canciones cuando tenia 14 años

  • Pure gold.

  • Badass!!!!

  • only Justin bieber clicked dislike

  • What model of Rickenbacker is John playing? It looks like a 330 or 360, but seems to have a vibrato tailpiece. Maybe a customized guitar? He's not getting the sustain so is it perhaps a 12-string model? The headstock is hard to see.

The amp is the same as he used in his Premonition concert/video, I think.

    Cool!

He mentions it being with him since Woodstock too so it makes sense this could be.

  • @GHR1227

Rick 325 but he put a Gibson PAF humbucker at the bridge

  • @AirlinePilotStuart Ah! A 325. That explains the vibrato unit.

  • i can hear the bullfrog callin me. It has to be a great rock song when you talk about the bullfrogs :)

  • this band always played it raw man! Just guitars, drums, and amps!! That's how I like my rock and roll!!!

  • this is real music and real talent. not some dumbass 23 year olds in a studio playing pre-made generic beats.

  • @browniecup100 right on!!!

  • Was this at Woodstock?

  • John Fogerty was once seen without a flannel shirt on, and that was only because he was naked.

  • LOL not sure if top 5 in rock history, just because the are labeled under swamp rock. but still top 5 in my book. and who is the one ass that clicked dislike?

  • Doug Clifford holds his left drumstick using the traditional underhand grip-- don't see that much anymore do ye?

  • that rickembacker and those big amps helped a lot

  • John's plugged straight into his amp. Don't see that very often nowadays

  • Deana3451. This is the first time I have seen this clip, Geat one.

  • John's brother Tom died of a field mouse bit in Arizona [if I remember the right state], which carried a rare disease. CCR-Revisited, who I also saw live about 10 years ago, consisted of the other two band members Stu Cook, drummer & ?? other. CCR-Revisited & John Fogerty did NOT get along over copyright song issues, but the former band really did do a remarkably GREAT Rendition of the Original CCR. I also bought most of JF's later solo cd's & last I knew he & wife live in Ohio.LUV his Stuff

  • Oh sad note. The brothers grimm didn't get along. Tom was angry that John became the lead singer and major writer etc.

  • Is John Fogerty's brother playing drums? The best song ever with two brothers in the same band.

  • lo mejor de lo mejor, the best musik ever

  • where are they playing here?

  • look at tht big motherfucking speaker behind stu cook holy shit

  • check out the bass players speaker boxes...lol.....love it...

  • @membrane19 Ric guitars rules!

  • @membrane19 I saw CCR live at a racetrack in 1972. The bass literally thumped you in the chest and the ground rumbled. Back then for the concert PA systems they used folded horn speakers which are incredibly efficient and very powerful below 70Hz. These days they use easily-transportable line arrays which are gutless by comparison.

  • i,m from the netherlands, these a great band, sure one of the best!

  • the songs that aren't about love are the best ones

  • Comment removed

  • I was there that night with my brother and sister at the Oakland Coliseum. Greatest show ever.

  • CCR is great ! Old Cody jr. was right. The world's still smoldering. TG we've got CCR to chill to.

  • Where was this?

  • Cosmo looks like an angry bear LOL

  • Okay, nobody cares if your 5 years old and like the music, just enjoy it without trying to sound like we should be impressed with how yound you are.

  • Pure American groove

  • why did they over dub the fake crowd noise?

  • @damygeebo I was wondering that too. It was way too loud

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell

  • I love CCR....but what on earth is Doug Clifford trying to find on the ceiling? He keeps looking up there lol

  • @BlackDiamond1967 Looking at the elephants dancing on the lawn. If you have to ask then, go ask Alice when she's 10 ft. tall.

  • @tracmag Of course lol being a fan, I should know that!

  • Oh man, those lyrics blow me away every time. Fogerty could really write... that line "Barefoot girl, dancing in the moonlight..." just blows me away every time. Awesome song.

  • Long hair/Short guitar cables.

  • I'm Awe Struck

  • Massively bitchin'.

  • HELLYEAH!

  • @bluesmol73 YES MAN! CCR is perfect to drive a long dirty road or on a highway!

  • in these days, no fluff and no flash like today;s gimmicks..no sir...in old school we just played with fingers and soul and voice!! and oh yea a good guitar and amp would do just fine!

  • CANCION DE 1969

  • One of the 5 greatest bands ever in Rock history

  • @ottvalley Who are the other four?

  • @ottvalley who are the other four?

  • @ottvalley Totally accurate. Fogarty was on a major creative bender those first 2 years. When did he write those first 3 albums? On that space ship he sung about?

  • @ottvalley you mean top 1 band ever period right?

  • many classic rock that really ROCKSSSS

  • Stunning.

The only Rock band that ever gave me some of the same feelings I get from listening to the great Mountain Music/Appalachian, Bluegrass, Old Time Country, and Country Blues musicians.

Green River has an almost spooky feel to it.

  • ccr is god

  • listen to the crowd... amazing

  • Possibly the greatest song ever.

Coming from a 15 year old...

  • @fire9910 been a year since ur comment...what are ur thots now? U ain't altogether "wrong"...this IS one of the greats...still yunguns like urself have 1) unbiased views (a great thing) and 2) views that evolve. Tell us ur top 10 greatest if u would.

  • @heyjudy1 It's still one of the greatest songs in my eyes. Now almost 17 I still think the same thing.

  • @fire9910 what r the other songs in ur top 10 (or 20)? All mine are from 60s to early 70s. With mebbe one elvis song and one buddy holly song thrown in there.

  • @fire9910 pretty smart 15 year old. This song always has a groove to get you moving.

  • @fire9910 Bless your young heart for carrying on the torch - may good music always live!!

  • @fire9910 What does your age have to to with anything? You want fame and glory for appreciating good music? I hate comments like this, same with the dislike thing on every fucking video.

  • @TheSonicWinds fame and glory? someone stating how young they are just shows that 40 years later there are people who weren't even close to being born yet and still appreciate it. all it shows is that this music is timeless. with all the talentless garbage mainstream music pumped into these kids heads today it should be considered a miracle when a 15 year old knows who CCR is.

  • @fire9910 possibly the greatest 15 year old ever

  • @middleton182 STFU with your nonsense!

  • @fire9910 liez, your 17 yo!

  • Once in while everything lines up perfectly for the creation of a rock and roll unit that kicks ass to the moon. CCR!

  • that and the rock gods look down on 4 lads and say unto them: "let there be rock" and there was rock...

  • Totally awesome.....forever! One of the best ever.

  • Possibly the best song ever written!

  • My favourite song!!! I can't drive if I'm not listening to that song!!!

  • not only the best song ever written but i hope you agree with the best band ever

  • fucking bad ass song and band

  • fuck yeah

  • Fantastic CCR! Je suis un super-fan de ce groupe que j'ai découvert dans les années 70' sans jamais voir d'images, et aujourd'hui, avec You Tube et ses adeptes, le plaisir est total. Maururu, Thank you et Merci!
