From what I understand, the I-ching is an observer of something fractal ie. Cosmology>Geography>Psychology­. It represents the relationship between these, so no the symbols them selves are not fractal (lmao). It is used as a tool, you chuck 6 coins, a straight line marks heads and 2 lines mark tails (excluding the context which I place heads and tails) lol
