You kids are doing an awesome job! I marched and was in U.T.A.'s music program up until the late 80's or so. I was around when Odyssey was having some terrific years at U.T.A. also. That was my first experience with Winterguard. My first wife was involved with Winterguard, Odyssey, and DCI.

I get misty-eyed when I see kids still doing this because I know how much you all sacrifice and work your hardest to perform the best shows possible. None of what any of you do is easy. Great jobs!

OMG, I wasn't at WGI this year, but I ordered the DVDs. When I saw your show I watched at least 10 times in a row. My favorite part was the "Mama I wanna be a . . " Your show is truly inspiring! As a African American male who first hand experienced some of the lyrics I want to thank you all the memories. I'm currently teaching an all African American guard and I wish I could have them perform as well as you all did. But I do have to ask, what is the name of that song & artist? It's beautiful

I am speechless. I was the field commander for the eagle band in 2006, and I am quite impressed with Ms. Blake and this guard. You all have put DeSoto back on the map, I appreciate your dedication and this performance was top notch! With so many people doubting our school district lately, you ladies make me proud to be a DeSoto Eagle!

I am so proud of each of you. Seeing you young ladies do your routine is inspiring and encouraging. You endured long practice session and managed to stay grounded academically which is truely a blessing. You made it to the National finals and you should be very proud. To the parents thank you for standing behind and supporting these young ladies. The Desoto Winter Color Guard has definitely won my utmost RESPECT!
