@cdmthatsme Actually, depending on which version of the film this scene is from, it may have actually been Connery and Janet Munro singing it themselves. Connery and Munro were only dubbed over by Brendan O'Dowda and Ruby Murray in the UK version.

I recently contacted some 45-record collectors in UK, and found that Connery & Munro (who sound very different from O'Dowda and Murray) were on a 45 single released in the UK in 1959, and apparently it is them on the US soundtrack. Not surprising, since Munro's a capella finish to her verse sounds identical to the pre-recorded voice she's lip-syncing up till that line.

On the question of the toupet, I saw Connery on the Tonight Show several years ago where instead of playing a clip from the movie he was promoting, Jay played a clip from this movie. Sean said "He's just jealous cause this is the only time in my career I had more hair than him." So I think that may possibly be his real hair.

I like Sean Connery better in this than in Bond movies (although Dr. No was pretty good...it was the first, he was still being fairly natural in it! ^_~).

I also like Pierce Brosnan better in the movie Evelyn (set in Ireland ^_^) than in Bond movies. (Some actors, doing the Irish bit is obviously what suits them best! ^_^)
