I LOVE Mark Ronson, but I just can't do this. I mean, Coldplay's song had a very different vibe and soul. To me, when you cover a song you still have to maintain the heart of it even if you change up all the rest. This song just doesn't do that.

Look, I'm not a big fan of cover versions. Basically what I'm angry about is the way that big music producers make it all about money. And plus, I don't like what Ronson's doing to Kaiser Chiefs. Part of what I liked of them was their slightly dark edge. Now I find them too upbeat. I just don't like the way that people think of music nowadays. And Coldplay aren't just about making things sound "nice", they have meaningful lyrics and as a bonus their music is great! They make me smile and cry.
