yes you are right 21000 wont be enough and it will be a bad deal for the worker ' the whole system is set up to keep the population in control and has been for a long time ' if you talk with some world war two Veterans about it' boy will you get an ear full about it all ' they have some great insight on the subjects of today ' i think the tech shit wastes lots of time '
blackberrys emails phone calls ' i refuse all of it at work ' a dry erase board and come see me ' thats my tech shit '
Yeah. It is interesting to me that the pattern of government intervention and nationalization is not widespread but localized. This is not a Hugo Chavez socialist move, it is a crafty Fascist slow takeover.
Grant rant - and I totally agree. Here's the latest I heard on the GM deal: some workers will get to keep their jobs in exchange for further massive pay and benefit cuts, but that's not all. They will in return own 50% of the shares in the company. A company which is bankrupt. Ha. Ha. Sweet deal, huh? It's disgusting!
Right on! And sometimes it isn't even neccisary. There was a store here in town that closed down a couple months ago because some executives of the chain store felt that it wasn't making "enough profit" to justify it being open. So, all those employees who worked there for years--some of them decades--lost their job, in a town where are absolutely no jobs to turn to! One stupid move by that chain was not to let the stores order in what they need and not bring in what they don't. Unbelievable.
Economical studies show that lay-offs actually lead to more expenses than if they had just kept them. This is because it costs money to hire and train new workers, which they eventually will to do. The best method for doing this is a shortened workweek, or a condensed work week. A 4-day week, regardless if it's condensed or not, it would save companies lots of money in the long run. Also, a 4-day week would be less stressful. Stress at the workplace is a HUGE loss of money for the company.
Exactly! Studies show that technology has actually increased work hours because people can now work from home and/or be on call 24/7 due to cell phones.
Agreed, Ted's channel is easily my favorite of all the ones I am subscribed to. He cuts to the chase and tells it like it is no matter how ugly. The trouble is, most folks would rather be told a convenient, candy coated lie than to be told a cold, hard, ugly truth. That's conditioning for you, I guess.
"The trouble is, most folks would rather be told a convenient, candy coated lie than to be told a cold, hard, ugly truth." All too true unfortunately.
Do people really use ratings to find videos to watch? I started with Billybobjoe and spread out from there- basically I like you -who do you like-I might like them too.
As for the auto companies that are going out of business they should be forced to sell to the Auto unions for a buck- I'd like to see how a worker owned company could do- would workers take less up front for profit sharing? It would be very interesting to me.
Ever watch "Who Killed the Electric Car?" documentray from 2006? I got it from my library and I think netflix has it too. I haven't seen it online for free yet. But perfectly good electric cars were crushed at the end of their lease!!! probably the American oil and car industry was behind it (and Cheney). I have no sympathy for those industries.
Indeed not and imagine how advanced batteries would be now if electric cars were in continuous production? You might also want to look into what happened to inner city transit (buses and cable cars) that were prosperous and worked by the auto industry.
When the parasites are in charge, there's no way they're gonna pull a fellow leech off to save the animal... No, instead they would rather pull the animal's fingers and toes off.
It's all about how much BLOOD these filthy, vile parasites can gorge themselves with before the animal dies.
awesome T your rants always make me feel better like I've gotten off of my own chest.
i say screw the ratings crap too I already went through & disabled most of them which took for freaking ever... not going back to fix it and not going to disable on future vids either. screw em.

Perhaps those firms who do not pay their CEOs mega millions do not need restructuring!

I'd imagine that might be correct.

Thanks Ella, you are right and that deal is lousy as hell, of course. The bosses will get to go with a large pension I'm sure.

This is absolutely true. Whatever happened to our lower and lower work hours that technology was supposed to bring??

Your videos are what makes YouTube real.
Without them, YouTube is reduced to mindless corporate commercialism.
