I know NC is trying to allow people with CCW permits to carry in restuarants that serve alcohol (not night clubs and stuff) but it would pretty much be a felony to have a sip of alcohol. In NC, regardless of that, if you are carrying and go to a friend's house and have a sip of beer... felony.

I quit in 2006 and glad I did; Some people quit and some don't. My Father lived to 80 and smoked two pack a day; but you are right! You can carry a gun but can't light up a cigarette anywhere anymore! Down here in NC people stick their nose in the air and talk shit about people who smoke but quickly forget that it was their Father's and Grand Father's tobacco crop's that put their azz through college!

Steph, I absolutely love your videos! I'm a nonsmoker myself, but I do other things that people are always making nasty comments about. I rehab orphaned animals for later release, and I've actually had morons ask me why I don't help kids, or old people?! Well, I fucking do all I can, so mind your own business! I love ya Steph, but sure wouldn't want you mad at me! You are a Texas tornado...Ha! Ha!

this is what i like about you Steph , you always have a very very good point ! Here in Europe is not very easy (legally) to have guns but i guess we kinda' have the same rules so yeah .. but what can we do about this ? I'm used to this crap ... . Take care :)

Great video!!!!! I lived in Tennessee for over 18 years and I can say that that state SUCKS..... I'm 46 years old and I smoke and yes it will kill me but at least I will die happy..... I rather carry a pack of smokes that carry a gun.... I used to drink but have not in 20 years... I believe that drinking will kill someone quicker that someone smoking.... Light up a smoke and enjoy... Just something I believe... You go Steph!!!!!!

i dont smoke but almost all of my friends do an so did my mom..we never frequented places where it was no smoking..this one time my mom an i were in a rest. an we were sat right next to the nonsmoking section an this lady was so ticked that my mom was smoking so i took my moms cigarette an took a puff an blew it right over.thats the dumbest law..drink an have a gun but not that smoke..pls we are all gonna die of something i hate ppl tellin me i cant smoke somewhere..great vid

when i used to smoke, i lit up one time in a SMOKING restaurant, and this lady sitting behind me says, all loud, "OH MY GOD! She's not really gonna DO that, is she??" I enjoyed that one immensely.

I know NC is trying to allow people with CCW permits to carry in restuarants that serve alcohol (not night clubs and stuff) but it would pretty much be a felony to have a sip of alcohol. In NC, regardless of that, if you are carrying and go to a friend's house and have a sip of beer... felony.

heh, yeah! I agree, it should be. I do carry, I do NOT drink. Ever. I do carry a gun for work, too, and since I don't like the idea of leaving a gun in my car unattended where some thug can break in and steal it, I usually get left out of dinner with friends and all. But such is life, I guess.

Yeah, Arizona just tried to pass the same law, also made is legal to conceal a gun without a permit. Only reason it didn't get passed and signed into law was that the legislature and governor were busy debating the budget.

You know...it's funny. I quit 2 1/2 years ago. And while I think all the anti smoking attitudes, taxing, and movement are way too hypocritical and downright mean...
I can stand the smell and being near smokers less and less! It now smells like a smoker's been laying on the couch for a month, not even moving to urinate. Isn't that terrible? But, that's the picture I get in my head when I smell a smoker!
Now...don't hate me for saying that! I just never imagined I'd be like that!!

I got ya.... I understand too.Like I have said many times,I have never seen a smoker take out a family while driven after smoking a pack or two...can't say the same for a drinker though.

I can't understand the ignorance surrounding this. People who receive carry permits are not the type to get hammered drunk and wave their guns around. Carry permits are not just handed out to whoever asks. I am more worried about those who already carry in bars, restaurants and everywhere else that do not have a permit, you know... criminals.

But it is funny that ppl start complaining and making comments about guns in bars only when a law is passed that allows law abiding citizens, that have passed numerous background checks, safty tests, character checks to get a permit to carry a concealed handgun. Criminals have always carried guns and knives in various public places not just bars or resaurants.
