yes, i watched the film again, then again then you would never believe it....then again!! i do have to say that the singing voice for Mark Wahlberg's character was former Steelheart frontman Miljenko Matijevic. Jeff Scott Soto (of Talisman, Yngwie Malmsteen, Soul Sirkus, Journey) provided the voice of the fictional band's original singer whom Wahlberg's character replaces.

Hey all. Downhill is right, the song in question is sung by Jeff Scott Soto (great singer). The film is great the songs are great!! but im sorry RockLegend the song is not sung by mark wahlberg. maybe YOU should go back and watch the film again just a little closer this time yer?

downhillskier, you r wong. In the film Rockstar Mark Wahlberg sings all the songs in the film.I have read before that people think that he din'nt sing the songs but he did. Go back and watch the film again more Closely . livin'The life ,great song! also sang by Mark Wahlberg.
