  • hello,

    I'm making a driver box for the rv-m1 as my thesis, do you know the ratings of the motors in the rvm1? the manual only provides power rating but no voltage rating or current rating.. can you pls provide some specs?

    thanks=)

  • @wakoko79

    The "Waist" "Shoulder" & "Elbow" motors are 24V, and I think the "Wrist Pitch", "Wrist Roll" and "Hand" are 12 V but Im not sure. I'm currently controlling the RV-M1 with with a CUBLOC 280, I'm running all the motors at 13 V, Ive designed and built a circuit to interface the CUBLOC with the motors,but Im still struggling trying to find the datasheet for the Optical Rotary Encoders that the RV-M1 uses, if you find any information about them, please let me know

    Thanks

  • Hello, nice video!

    I got one RV-M1 like this in my Universisty. I wish I could control it by a C or C++ language program. Do you know where can I find a project like that?

    If you help me, I can put your name in my paper.

    Thanks!

    Jardel

  • @jard18 you can control it with any microcontroller, you just need pwm signals to drive the joints you can email me here: randelmc21@yahoo.com

    I'll try to help if I can, sorry for replying sooooo late.
