  • love u roy

  • perfect song for E....buy the perfect singer, Mr. Clark.....I cried

  • yes it s a originally a french song by the great CHARLES AZNAVOUR a song called HIER ENCORE .. and charles sang it in english too.. i believe he wrote the two versions..

    beautiful song!!!

  • The Baseball great Mickey Mantle loved this song.He felt that it explained his life...He had met Roy and asked him to sing this song if he were to die..Roy said okay, but felt it was more of a polite but not serious request.. When Mickey was dying he called Roy and spoke with him..Roy sang this song at Micks funeral, not a dry eye in the place..Class just class

  • This is Roy Clark and not Elvis signing this song.

  • vous avez raison c'est bien une traduction française car c'est Charles Aznavour qui a écrite cette chanson et le titre en Hier encore

  • I cant understand dude why u prefer using someone else songs for elvis tribute as he himself was a great singer n his own songs can be easily devoted to him.And this is such a beautiful song composed by Roy that he should be given credit for that and also dedicated to him only.

  • wow....what an awesome song...

  • This is one of my all time favorite songs. Very beautiful and oh so meaningful. Too bad most of us don't learn until it's too late.

    RIP Roy.

  • This Song is the story of My life! Almost word for word! I bought this on 45 because it was a beautiful song and ironic how it applied to me! This song is being sung by Roy Clark who also wrote it! I don't think it was written as a tribute to anyone! but it's just about those of us who thought we were going to be young forever and didn't use our life for the best for ourselves and for the betterment of others!

  • @Dexhu Actually I believe it was written by a French singer and was called Hier Encore (Yesterday Again). It was then translated into English and popularized by Roy Clark. At least that's what I've heard.

  • fits perfectly

  • OK I got it.

I thought it was a tribute to Mickey Mantle and that Roy sang it at his funeral

  • hi alexthasy, i did not mean to misslead or confuse anyone, i just thought that this was a great song, and being an elvis fan, i decided to use the words in this song as a tribute.

  • I got that. I love Roy interpretation. I don't think Elvis could have rendered it better.

  • This is Roy Clark not Elvis

  • there were so many mispellings in that im surprised you understood it. lol, but yeah like the song alyssa lies is really sad. i guess its sadder because you know its true and just not like made-up.
