Great statement! I've been around the rockin' scene for more years than I care to mention :-) and I'm into all of it, from Hank Williams to the Meteors. The one thing that's never failed to amaze me is how people will equate 'good' with personal taste or, even worse, with what it's currently hip to say they like. IT'S ALL GOOD, it's just that there may be some that we might not personally like.
