our neighbor had 2 cats and she found a new boyfriend who she was gonna live with but they didnt allow pets. she was about to throw them in the shelter but me and my bf took them and told her we will find a home for them cause theyre practically kittens..maybe a year old adorable, affectionate, and purrs so loud itll keep you up at night. we didnt want them in a cage. but were gonna get em fixed and my bf is hellbent on doing background checks on whos gonna take the cats. hes protective <3

When my cat got hit by a car, i found out she had six kittens. Without a mother i knew they'd die, so i loved them and took care of them. I felt like i was their mother. But when one, Shadow, mysteriously died during the night i knew i couldnt take care of them. I cried the day i gave them to a shelter. Even tho it was a no kill, and they were adopted i still lay awake at night, wondering if this is what they think about. If they wonder everynight why i gave them up.

I just cried through the entire video ~ I feel sooo badly for those innocents that have no voice and that are just tossed aside. If people only knew what really happens to their animals when they're abandoned, maybe they'd not leave them behind :*(
I don't just blame the humans who abandon them but I also blame people at the pound they only give pets a couple of days and then they euthanize them, I bet some of them are only babies and I bet they do this to make all of the pets extinct
i cried whole way though i knew it was going to happen one of my dogs was hit in his eyes and not cared for he turned blind in one eye and his owner asked a vet to heal him and never came back they were going to kill him tomorrow and my dad said he was going to get some food and came back with the cutest recklas black mutt. he was a puppy we called him Boomer and my other dog Peanut was beaten with a broom everyday of his life and now is scared of them I love the so much i cried an my voic dull
I cried I have a dog and her name is lady. I picked her up only 10 minutes before being euthanized. She was a dog taken by police and there was no room at a no kill pound. In the past she was tied to a splintering post the rope was choking her and her teeth are worn down by chewing it. She had no food and only water with alge in it. She is the best dog ever and I would rather have my fingernails slowly pulled off while starving to death and a machine pulling off my skin than giving her up.

Despite it's ability to make me cry every time, I LOVE this story ever since I found it online back in the 8th grade. Last year for my college communications course I preformed it for my final and made half of the class (teacher included) cry. Thank you for putting it in to such a well-made video.

It's really hard to make me cry, because I've seen so many sad things. For at least half of this video and after the video ended, I was still sobbing. It reminds me of my boxer that died some years ago. People who give up their pets, should be required, by law to hold them when their time has run out and they are put down. My mother lived in a beat up old trailer rather than give up our dog. YOU are their family, YOU make the effort!

@TechMoviesOfCod An animal is put to sleep every 6.5 seconds mainly because there is an overpopulation because people do not spay & neuter their pets. This is a heart breaking story, & no animal would ever be put down if we would be responsible by spaying & neutering & taking responsibility to find a new home for our pets if necessary. Every 6 seconds an animal is put down & it is humans' fault. There are also too many birds that are abused, neglected, & rehomed. We rescued a Pit Bull when he was 6 months old. He was so sweet and friendly to everyone and every animal. He had absolutely no prey drive, he could have befriended a bug if he wanted to lol. He developed a skin cancer that spread so quick there was nothing else we could do but take his pain away. He used to hate going to the vet because of his past with being abandoned at a shelter, but when my dad put his leash on to take him for 1 last vet visit he seemed relieved like he knew. miss u Angus

I don't just blame the humans who abandon them but I also blame people at the pound they only give pets a couple of days and then they euthanize them, I bet some of them are only babies and I bet they do this to make all of the pets extinct

i cried whole way though i knew it was going to happen one of my dogs was hit in his eyes and not cared for he turned blind in one eye and his owner asked a vet to heal him and never came back they were going to kill him tomorrow and my dad said he was going to get some food and came back with the cutest recklas black mutt. he was a puppy we called him Boomer and my other dog Peanut was beaten with a broom everyday of his life and now is scared of them I love the so much i cried an my voic dull

I cried I have a dog and her name is lady. I picked her up only 10 minutes before being euthanized. She was a dog taken by police and there was no room at a no kill pound. In the past she was tied to a splintering post the rope was choking her and her teeth are worn down by chewing it. She had no food and only water with alge in it. She is the best dog ever and I would rather have my fingernails slowly pulled off while starving to death and a machine pulling off my skin than giving her up.

Despite it's ability to make me cry every time, I LOVE this story ever since I found it online back in the 8th grade. Last year for my college communications course I preformed it for my final and made half of the class (teacher included) cry. Thank you for putting it in to such a well-made video.

It's really hard to make me cry, because I've seen so many sad things. For at least half of this video and after the video ended, I was still sobbing. It reminds me of my boxer that died some years ago. We knew his days were numbered, but when I came home from school to hear that he'd been put down... my heart is still breaking. :'( I'd known him since my parents braught me home from the hospital, and I'll never find a dog as great as he was. RIP Chandler, I'll never forget you.

People who give up their pets, should be required, by law to hold them when their time has run out and they are put down. My mother lived in a beat up old trailer rather than give up our dog. YOU are their family, YOU make the effort!
People who don't spay and neuter and allow their pets to do what comes naturally should be required, by law, to go to a shelter and hold a litter of puppies or kittens as they are put down.

i did cry to this song because i've been to kennels before, i love animals, i've heard many stories of poor animals being killed because of abuse, neglect, and other stuff. Also, i have three cats, one saved from the streets, another saved as a kitten which had a sinis infecton.

This was the saddest video I have ever watched!! I think it is terrible that there are human beings out there that could do that to their pets!! Would you do that to your children??? Pets to most ARE like their own children and would die for them! I am an animal lover and I just hate the thought of anyone being cruel to them. Thank you for sharing this video. @TechMoviesOfCod An animal is put to sleep every 6.5 seconds mainly because there is an overpopulation because people do not spay & neuter their pets. Yes, sometimes they are put down because they are mean or have a serious illness or injury. I can send you a video if you would like for me to, or you can check my playlists on animal recue. GeHof also has other excellent rescue videos.
You are right, dogs don't have the mind of a human, but they have similar feelings, don't you think?

This is a heart breaking story, & no animal would ever be put down if we would be responsible by spaying & neutering & taking responsibility to find a new home for our pets if necessary. Every 6 seconds an animal is put down & it is humans' fault. There are also too many birds that are abused, neglected, & rehomed. PLEASE RESEARCH BEFORE GETTING ANY PET, AND THIS WILL CUT DOWN ON ABUSE, NEGLECT, AND PUTTING DOWN INNOCENT ANIMALS.

WTF!!! it's so sad that we don't care enough to make sure that our beloved pets get a good loving and caring home if we can't ceep them ourselves anymore.. "it's just a dog" is an explanation that comes up many times in similar situation, but the dog(or any other animal/pet) has feelings to for Gods sake!!! a message to everyone thats thinking of getting a pet; you should know about how long the pet will live and how you can best care for it. all pets deserve the same TLC as a human!!!!

We rescued a Pit Bull when he was 6 months old. He was so sweet and friendly to everyone and every animal. He had absolutely no prey drive, he could have befriended a bug if he wanted to lol. He developed a skin cancer that spread so quick there was nothing else we could do but take his pain away. He used to hate going to the vet because of his past with being abandoned at a shelter, but when my dad put his leash on to take him for 1 last vet visit he seemed relieved like he knew. miss u Angus
