  • If you loved Mama Cass, say a short little prayer of thanks for her, that you found her here today and this simple tribute found you, touched you and showed you how beautiful a human voice could sound. What a beautiful woman. Loved ya Cass. You were special.

Cass is probably teaching Angels to sing. Thumbs up if you think she could.

  • Miss You Cass !! Dream A little Dream For Me !!! Love you !!!

  • The premature death of this artist, ordered the dismantling of the fantastic group Mamas and the Papas ... I miss them ...

  • what a voice she sang like an angel how dare people laugh at her size her like will never be seen again as they all have to be stick insects these days.

  • Cass Elliot wow what a great talent she was (met her once in 1969) Thank you for the nice tribute my friend

  • She would have been 64 this year and probably would have still been belting them out.

  • What a beautiful tribute!

  • No she didn't, she died of a heart attack, how many times, Jesus..

  • @scottspeaksfuckinsux THAT IS A MYTH!!!!!!!

  • @scottspeaksfuckinsux .... only an @ss would laugh over this not to mention it was only a myth.... Grow Up Man

  • I have one of her CD's and I just love dancing to it. Her voice her face beautiful.

  • Such a Sexy voice! Something you wouldnd mind hearing right next to your ear!

    oh Cass you are missed!

  • SHES SOO ADORABLE

  • Gostei...

  • R.I.P. Angel!

  • Well done! This flowed, really well with the pictures.

  • great versionof that tune. what a goddess!

  • Such a beautiful voice and such a beautiful woman. It's a shame that people made fun of Mama Cass.....even spread lies about her death...just to poke fun at her. Her voice will live on forever.

  • nice video, thanks for putting it together, and it is good to be able to still see and hear her. I am 48 and i like the 50's and 60's music the best. I have an xm radio so i can listen to the older rock. I just can't listen to rap, hip hop and all the other crap they call music today, thank God for Cass and the others like her.

  • I was only baby when she died (8 years), but kep my teenage years listening to my older sister's records over and over!. Was a sad lost for the music of that time, but boy...she knew how to put her feelings to every tone she sang along!. Even today I love to hear those old vynil records of hers!!.

Rest in Peace sweet (Mama) Cass Elliot!.

  • i love this! but cass was born in 1941, not '47.

  • Cass will always be remembered as one of the great singers of all time. Rest in peace Cass.

  • Excellent audio quality. Not only can you hear those mysterious words "You keep pouring from one glass to the other and changing the straw" at the start, you even hear the great lady coughing!

  • You can see the different weight fluctuations throughout her career. Looks like she dropped a lot of weight at one time. Ist so hard once you have been heavy to not gain it back. Its obvious that she tried to control her weight. God bless you Mama Cass!!

  • I love this song, and others my the Mammas and Pappas- I'm just a little too young to remember their time - but her voice has always struck me as classicly beautiful.

  • Great editing on this excellent tribute to a music legend!

  • 2:46 2:55 too much

  • she is great!!, her voice, the rythm!!, too bad she doesn't get much credit for what she did for music

  • Don't worry.....that scottspeak...whats his name can only be 8 years old with a mental age of 3 ...(THREE MONTHS)

In this world there are idiots and he is one of the biggest....we should feel sorry. One day pal you may choke when you you spit out an apology......and you will know what it feels like to be alone on that day.

  • why would you say something so nasty??

the world lost one of its great voices the day Cass Elliot died...

  • precious voice

  • That's what you call 'rare' pictures? The first images taken from google views? Sorry, but this tribute didn't make a sense for me.

  • If you don't like it why even waste your energy to comment

  • Sad cass passed on so young, sad for her daughter. what a voice.

  • She is truly a Legend for all bbw's everywere WE Love her and well always be missed

  • Sorry harrychuckles, I posted in your reply by mistake. Just wanted to read what you said, oops. BTW she died of a heart attack.

  • awesome video.. and Mama Cass was a songbird...Peace

  • she was such an amazing woman

    R.I.P. Cass<3

  • She's just unbelievable!

  • You're a loser.

  • Beautiful beautiful lady.

  • She had a wonderful voice and a beautiful smile.

  • do you have the whole clip from 1:39?

  • just awesome!!!

  • What an impression this woman made in her all too few years on the music scene. She had a voice like an angel and became one much too soon. There will never be another Cass!

    Peace, Doris

  • CAN you post any of her RCA Victor recordings? Didn't she record a version of the song "I'll Be There" ~ what about the tune she did for Dunhill called "Waiting for A Song that Never Comes"? Are her solo Songs available on CD? Am I asking too many questions?

  • I`m 48 and remember her well from tv appearances and Mama Cass was multi-talented,funny,and that voice.....and yes sexy...her personality made her sexy for many.

  • I Love her. Mama Cass is adorable and super talented

  • i agree this is a voice of an angel,we lost her and now she is singing in the heavens bless you Mama for all you gave .

  • along with karen carpenter, cass elliot was highly underrated, and under appreciated in her time, plus as lovely as she was inside and out, people judged her harshly for her weight. you must remember these were the time when 'Twiggy' (not Marilyn Manson's friend),but the model who weighed about 89 lbs! even after she died people joked about her size, it was (is) sickening how harshly women are judged, but back then? not good.

what a loss for us all

  • We will never see her likes again...

Her legacy is the voice of America

  • this is the MOST Beautiful song...Cass seemed like the MOST Georgeous person..I'm 30 and find her simply amazing..

  • I love her voice and she was a great character. She used to throw these parties in her home with guests such as Fred Neil, Jimi Hendrix, Dave Mason, and others. There was a reason as to why they all gravitated to her house - she had all the goodies in her fridge and in jars in her kitchen. Wild woman, marvellous person.

  • You were so very young when you died. You were an incredibly talented female singer of the 60's and the early 70's up until your passing. I just love this song...my dad loves this song too...and if I remember correctly he would occasionally whistle to this song when it was playing on the radio.

  • I've just heard this song a moment ago and its really sad that shes not among us anymore. And i saw two other videos where she sings with John Denver and the other with Dudley Moore and they are dead too,GOD¡Many good ones not good ones, great ones are gone¡¡And they are singing with the angels.

  • Wonderful woman! You're an angel in heaven!

  • beautiful lady

  • The good die young. She will always share that time in my life as a teenager forever. Miss her very much, what a terrible lost to humanity. RIP Cass

  • ***** 5 STARS!

  • Big and beutiful. I miss her.

    From Mexico City

  • Mama Cass was not only an extraordinarily gifted vocalist. She had a big heart and her cheerful outlook on life made a lasting impression on anybody who knew her.

  • I couldn't agree with you more.

  • We are all fortunate she was on the scene when she was. Today a woman with her (immense) looks and (immense)talent would never get a recording contract. Yet a completely talentless screetcher like Britney Spears is a star. Barf...

  • So sad that young people leave us... For Me She's not one of the best. She's the BEST at all. Cass Elliot made not a songs. She made the songs over the top! Cass looking incredible, singing incredible. So for me Cass Elliot is the QUEEN OF MUSIC. Sometimes I thining about Her... What a Person She was...

Cass face like an angel's face. (My first thing in heaven will be to see Cass Elliot :) ) R. I. P.

  • Oh Christopher, you made me cry with that immensely touching tribute to her...she was one of the things that kept me going through my teen years, her hope, optimist songs, her beautiful soul, it was just too beautiful for this world...I too would love to see and hear her sing in heaven...and tell her just how much I will always love her...thanks so much, friend.

  • Absolutely lovely woman.

  • She died 30 years old?

  • She died 30 years old?

  • No she died at 31 not 30 =] Such a talented lady taken from us too early.

  • Very Nice

  • owen elliott-kugell is her daughters name. they look identical

  • i cant think of her daughters name but they could pass as twins

  • She was so bloody charismatic...I mean, over the top!

  • she was one of the best

  • I love this song, Mama Cass was a very talented lady & I miss her dearly, she had an amazing voice, one that will never be equalled by any of the so called singers of today. Love You Mama Cass. RIP
