I have the same desert eagle with the guarder kit installed, and I'm just wondering something about the hammer. The hammer on mine is perfectly fine and all, but does your desert eagle's hammer move a little to the sides if you push it with your fingers? Just want to know, since my does, and wondering if its like this on all of them whether its on the guarder kit or not..

@dannybee444 If you like the feeling of metal, yes. If you're only concerned by performances, then keep the abs slide. It works better in cold temperature, use less gas.

I know that they're not as good as some other makes, but I really don't understand how a real firearms manufacturer manages to make an airsoft gun that's worse than ones by other airsoft companies. XD

@sockschappercat well true but a&k made this, not magpul. it's just liscensed. alot of a&k's guns are good but fall short in othe aspects. thats like saying heckler and koch's mp5 is the best gun you can get when really its like buying a gun at walmart.

@sockschappercat i'm not saying dont buy it. it's great. i highly suggest though (if you have experience with this) to drill holes in the piston, downgrade the spring from the m120 that comes in the gun (400 fps) to an m100 (330-350 fps), reshim the gears, put in a high grade mosfet, and rewire so you can use a 11.1v lipo and tell your friends it came that way stock =) i got mine up to 33 rps like that and let me tell you, great cqb or field weapon.
